The motif is of scrollwork and a single flower! Function/Use: Used for support the top shelf of a mantle. Savaged from European chateau in Prague. Lot consists of two(2) corbels; they are the same motif. But oweing to their hand-carved production there is some variation in the shappe. One of the flowers is more open than the other. Structure/Composition: Made of hand carved hardwood with dark brown stain. Unstained side shows little grain ands is light honey colored. So it could be poplar or oak. Wear-and-Tear: In excellent condition. Edges to the leaves are still crisp and unworn. Removal from wall was done well; however one corbel is missing a chip on the backside and the other has a small crack on the side from their removal from the wall. 1930s era Art Deco Mantel Clock by Seth Thomas. Paper Label"No. 1W TABOR" and"Seth Thomas. CONN. Also marked"Made in U.S.A" Also marked with tiny engraved figures above and to the right of the F S dial. They are in three lines. One above the other. The first line is"208" the second line appears to be the greek alphabet"pi, delta, lambda" and the third line reads"CJH" It is wooden with black enamel. The clock is set upon a heavy bottom made of a shiny silver metal covered in gold finish. There are three gold threads that wrap around the sides of the clock. And a gold rim around the face. The face is either a metal, or painted wood which appears like metal. We have never taken it apart to find out. The wind does not work. There is some rubbing and wear to the gold finish. This beautiful Art Deco mantel clock designed by Paul Frankl for Telechron circa 1930s. This model 700 clock has a rare mint green bakelite case in a skyscraper manor. It is in great condition for its age. It is working as it should with a functioning alarm. The clock face is excellent as well with no scratches and retains original hands and clock face glass. It measures 8" tall is 6" wide and 3.75" deep. It has been repaired on the corner of the case, it is missing a brass accent on the front and the original cord was missing so I made one. Seth Thomas 4 Bell Sonora Chime Mantel Clock (near mint condition)
It is on a rare occasion that one finds a 100 yr old clock(and even rarer a Seth Thomas Sonoran Chime) that the case& original face are in this nice an original unrestored condition& that works perfectly. OK maybe not that rare? but rare none the less, Well here it is. no scratches chips or wear of any kind in the case, face or glass. as it seems with all this style of Seth Thomas adamantine cases there is a rough edge on the back corners of these cases that I cannot explain(see picture) but doubt they were as such when new? this clock is no exception. the back door is in excellent condition with all tabs and instructions on the inside, another plus. The clock movement keeps perfect time and it chimes the bells& hour beautifully. The discoloration of the brass backplates is from what I assume was somebodys attempt to clean it ... morewith a metal cleaner that was not designed for brass? but with no mechanical harm done it has been properly oiled and has a strong escapement. It is in my slightly more than amateur horologist opinion this clock has seen little actual running time. Look at the pics and gauge for yourself. it has a lver on the right rear of the case that lets you disable the chimes but will continue to strike the hr. keep in mind this clock has not been restored and has all original parts including bob& key. ST Sonoran Chime clocks are a favorite with collectors worldwide and no collection is complete without at least one. And unlike many others will continue to increase in value and all original sonoran chimes in this condition will always command a premium price.

Old Vintage Clock In the shape of a Handbag Coral design Swiss made It has alarm. And a push in button, which stops the clock from ticking, and to start it ticking again. Just pull out the button. It has other buttons on the back. Well I should say keys really. One is to move the hands. And the other is to move the small hand. I am not sure what the other one is for. Enlarge photo's to see. It is about 6 inch in height approx It is metal. With gold tone, and it has illumini handles between the gold tone. It is a must have for the ladies. It is in perfect working order. Offered here is an extraordinary19th-century continental ceramic mantel urn. Guaranteed to be original, signed and depicting a balletic dancer with castanets and bell-shaped flowers- a scene inspired simultaneously by Fanny Elssler(the black hair and castanets, the balletic pose, the decollete dress, the small waist with criss-crossing, the puffed sleeves just above the elbows, and the ballet slippers) and J. J. Grandville(the artist who produced LES FLEURS ANIMEES, depicting flowers as ballerinas, including one with red cactus flowers) The urn or vase measures a very tall 14.25 inches(Height) x 5 inches(Bottom) 6 inches(Top Rim) The condition is very good. With some rubbing of the gold finish along the bottom and the top rim(as seen in the accompanying scans) There is also a hairline two-inch crack that can be seen on the inside rim of the ... moretop. As is typical of Vieux Paris porcelain(see below) there is no identifying mark on the base. For illustrative purposes we have included. I have for sale an antique kitchen or mantel clock from my father's personal collection. I'm not sure the age of the clock. On the back of the clock is an old faded sticker that says Equal Strike Ansonia Clock Company New York. Beautiful all wood clock with gold painted glass door and gold pendulum. Gears and inlays. Still works and comes with the original key to wind the clock. Measures 20 inches high, 10.5 inches wide at its longest and 4 inches deep. Weighs about 10 lbs. Early 20th century faux ivory/celluloid Minxie Clock 6"x6" Made in Germany. Clock mechanism does try to Tick. But stops after 20-30 seconds. I would be inclined to think it just needs a good cleaning. Came from an estate sale of an 86 yr old lady that traveled in Europe and UK in her younger years. Clock case is in very good condition. Some of it is shiny and some of the case is dull texture with straight and curve lines going through it.The face is in good condition also. The face of the clock is shiny, mottled gold and I can not tell if it is metal, but it is very shiny and it has beautiful gold clock hands, and vivid black roman numeral numbers. The stem is there but the fitting that goes over the stem to wind it is missing, there is another stem that moves the hands to set the time, that moves freely, Lamp is in working condition. And the wiring has been replaced somtime in the past, socket looks to be original, but as with any old electric item this should be checked out by an Electrician before use. 1 of the glass panels is cracked and there is a gap on 1 side of this same panel. Antique Ingraham mantel clock. Bonanza" needs repair, at no reserve. The clock has a nice dial- some yellowing. Glass dial cover intact, clock works seem complete. There is no key, no pendulum. One cast iron side tassle is missing. The clock is wound tight. The clock works probably need cleaned. I am selling the clock as not working. I had no way to test without the pendulum. The clock case is very pretty. Reddish brown finish with some light crazing, four columns on front with applied carvings, cast iron winged claw feet on the front, original paper on back door cover, a couple of speck of paint overspray, The clock measures 11" high, 15 1/2" wide at feet, 5 1/2" deep at feet. This is a Wonderful Solid Brass French Style Franz Hermle Mantel Clock with beautifully decorated porcelain pillars& panel. This clock works great and has a wonderful double hammer melody to the chimes that chime on the one and the one half hour. I'm not sure of the age but my best guess is 1950s or 60s it is not antique even though it looks 1800s. The condition is fantastic I see no issues with this great clock it works great and looks great! The clock stands 17" tall it is 10" at widest point across the feet and it weighs 8.14.5 pounds it has a 3 1/2" dial beveled glass and it is all a very heavy gauge brass with a light patina. No Reserve! This is a beautiful all-original vintage Jefferson Golden Hour electric shelf clock from the 1950s. Made of brass and glass and featuring gorgeous Art Deco styling. These are called"mystery clocks" because there is no visible connection between the moving hands and the motor. This lovely clock stands 9" tall on a 5-3/4" x 4-1/2" base and works great. The brass could use a polishing in spots. But overall it is in great cosmetic condition as well. You'll love it! Thanks for looking!

ANTIQUE NEW HAVEN PORCELAIN MANTEL CLOCK C. 1890 - 1910
New Haven Clock Company New Haven. Connecticut Incorporated February 7. 1853, the New Haven Clock Company was formed by clockmaker Hiram Camp and others to supply clock movements to the Jerome Manufacturing Company, then the largest clockmaking operation in the world. Three years later, the Jerome firm went bankrupt and in April of 1856 the New Haven Clock Company raised an additional $20,000 and purchased the Jerome operation. By 1860. The firm employed 300 men and 15 women and was producing about 170,000 clocks a year. In 1866, the old Jerome factory was destroyed by fire, but a new brick factory was soon built which survives today with many additions. Their working force had increased to 460 men, 52 women and 88 children by 1880 and nearly a million dollars worth of clocks were produced that year. Non-jeweled pocket watches were added ... moreto the line that year and were offered until the 1950's. New Haven had trade connections with Jerome& Company Ltd. An English sales firm which continued business independently after the bankruptcy of the Jerome Manufacturing Company in 1856. By the 1870's the firm was using the trademark*Jerome& Co. on some of their products and purchased the entire English operation in 1904. For years the Directors of the New Haven operation had drained the resources of the company with large dividends and by 1890 they were in serious financial condition. Hiram Camp(1811-1892) Founder and long-time president, resigned as president in September, 1891 and his successor Samuel A. Galpin struggled to keep the firm afloat. They nearly went into bankruptcy in 1894 but raised enough money to continue until March of 1897 when the firm was reorganized. In 1902 leadership of the firm passed to Walter C. Camp who is better known as the"father of American football" However. The E.N. Welch Clock Company Before 1831. Elisha Niles Welch was in business with his father, George, who operated an iron foundry in Bristol, Connecticut. The fundry made weights and bells for clocks. When Elisha Welch formed a partnership with Thomas Barnes Jr. they named the company Barnes& Welch. The firm manufactured wooden-movement shelf clocks and was involved in business with Jonathan C. Brown and Chauncey Pomeroy. E.N. Welch Parlor Shelf Clock circa 1880 From 1841 until 1849. E.N. Welch partnered with J.C. Brown, who used Forestville Manufacturing Company and J.C. Brown of Bristol, Connecticut as company names. Chauncey Pomeroy was also a partner in these companies. This clock was manufactured in 1906. This type of mantel clock was very popular; several American clock manufacturers had dozens of models in this style. The case is ebonized(black stain) wood. There are simulated pieces of granite to accent the case. This style of clock almost always had ornate and gilded feet and handles. Except for the key and clock face. At present the movement and interior parts are not inside and will be packaged separately and safely. I have no idea what parts, if any, are missing. I acquired this from an estate auction and the wood case is just too beautiful not to be restored. The wood case itself measures a large 16 1/2" long, about 6" in depth and 10" tall. It has a couple surface issues but overall pretty darn good for the age. The back does have a hole that I assume has a purpose. There are several scratches, nothing deep, on the back. The bottom is off and the parts attached to it are marked"PAT APP'D FOR" as best I can see. Most of the nails are still in this piece. The main movement is marked" THE SESSIONS CLOCK CO. FORESTVILLE. CONN. U.S.A. PATENT NO. 1700506" with a patent date of 1929. You are looking at a Seiko QHG355FL Quartz Desk Clock with Rotating Armillary Sphere. It comes in the original box with styrofoam. The clock has never been used; it was taken out of the box to take pictures. The movement is made in Japan and the case is made in China. The case is solid brass with silver tone accents. The box is in fairly good condition; it shows wear especially along the edges and corners. In some parts the box has minor scrapes; please see pictures. Measures 4 3/4" wide by 3 1/2" high
