Antique Art Deco 1939-1940 Chris Craft Wall Sconce Light Fixtures For your consideration we are pleased to offer seven antique 1930s Art Deco Chris Craft white porcelain wall sconce light fixtures from the interior cabin and staterooms of the 1940 55 foot Chris Craft yacht"TAK" of San Francisco. The standardized 55 foot pre-war cruisers were Chris Craft's first efforts in building a large motor yacht. The Cruiser Boat Equipment Record for"TAK" shows that yacht was built in September 1939 but was classified as a 1940 model. Nine of these yachts were built from 1939 to 1941. Production of these large yachts ceased with the advent of World War II at the end of 1941. This is a pair of handsome older flush mount single bulb dome ceiling fixtures with very attractive antique look light green metal parts and marbled satin frost shades. They measure 12" across and 6 1/2" tall and are in very good working condition with some wear; most of which is probably intentional to give them that great shabby antique look. They take the standard size base bulb(60 watt max) and one is included. These will weigh 10 1/2 pounds very well packed. Sweet set of three small glass light cover fixtures. The shades are white with tan colored bottom. Burgundy stripes around the bottom as well as tan and peach colored flowers in the middle. The bottom edge is wavy and the top rim is smooth. The top rims seem to have been made unevenly. Shades are in overall good condition with little to no scratching or scuffing. This pair of 5 light fixtures were removed from a turn of the century home. They are complete but. Will need cleaned. The fixtures hang 15" without the shades; the canopies are about 6 1/2" in diameter. The shades are 4" H X 4 1/2W; all have frosted interiors and. Are in damage free condition. The sockets appear to be in good operating condition. The switches have a strong snap when turned and they all have mica interiors. All of the shade holders retain their original set screws. A pair of 2 Art Deco Electric Wall Sconces made by R. Williamson Co. They each measure 7” by 11” and appear to be made of cast iron. Each pair is marked R. Williamson& Co. 031 Plate. Pat. Pend. It appears that both scones have their original gold paint finish which has a old rich patina look, some scratches from age on surfaces. The original electrical wiring is there, but the sconces would need rewired. There is old paint on the sides where the sconces touch the wall The glass shades are missing. Richard Williamson seeing the demand for light fixtures founded R. Williamson Co. in Chicago in 1882. Many of the company’s fixture were made for Art Deco theaters in the 1920& 30’s.

Pair of vintage Brass electric wall sconces in need of restoration.Can't find a makers mark. They're heavy, over 5 pounds each. Need to be rewired and I would replace the cheap screws that hold them together. Also needs candle sleeves. The center, wall, piece is 12" long and the candles are 6" apart.
