Especially the ones that come out of the old Churches, like this one. This is just incredible. It is an older window that is about 43" tall. It has a wood frame with the old white paint on the front and brown on the back. The paint is now chippy and peely for a perfect patina. It has the amazing arched window at the center with twelve colored glass panes all around it. The center has an awesome pattern that I believe like the old stencil in white. Not sure if this is considered stencil. The colored glass all around is gorgeous in different colors. The bottom glass pane on the left has some cracks or a little break, as I show in some close ups. There is only one pane with a break. There is a slight separation to the wood at the top, as I show. There is some missing window putty, but it appears solid. This is such a statement making piece that will be one of your favorite items in your own home. Don't pass it up! Great in any shabby chic, Victorian, Antique, romantic cottage or French country home. Measurements are about 43" tall by about 22" wide and 1 1/2" deep. It weighs about 12 pounds. 80 individual pieces of beveled glass with no cracks or missing pieces! Gigantic. Antique Clear Leaded Glass Window Large Beveled Diamonds Vintage Victorian Panel
Up for auction is this amazing lead light window with large beveled diamonds that is simple yet extemely elegant. This beautiful antique lead glass window from an estate is in as found condition. The overall measurements are: approx 12 1/8 H" x 13 5/8"W. The beveled diamond shapes are large. And measure approx 3 1/2"L x 2" W. The angle of the bevel measures approx 1/2" and the frame itself measures about 1/4" thick and is made of metal. There is no damage to the glass, but there is a piece on the frame trim that has a small amount of damage(see pic) There is one arched piece that is working loose from the frame as would be expected with an antique piece. The glass is all original with no cracks or chips, and the unbeveled glass appears to be wavy which would date this to the 19th century. The diamonds are very ... morethick and with the masterful bevel work on these large diamond shapes, they project a spectrum of rainbow of colors when the sun shines through them, as seen in the pictures. Stained Glass Leaded Window, 15 x15 inches, With Two inch Wide Antique Frame
Dimensions of total piece are 19.5 inches square with solid oak antique frame. Frame is two inches wide and beveled on the inner aspect. The wood is old. Dark and heavy. It is 1.5 inches thick. On the top of the frame are two new eyelet screws holding each a 14-inch new chain for hanging the piece. These eyelets are 12 inches apart. The leaded stained glass window as seen above was photographed as it hung against a window that overlooked a tree outside, and the sides in the second picture are just the frames of the window in which the glass was hanging. Therefore the shadow on the right is that of the tree outside. The design is in quadrants of four overlapping petals against a crimson background, which is bordered in yellow. The colors of the petals are ruby, magenta, buff, aqua, powder blue, violet, and the center is dark blue. The glass ... moreis bulging out or in, whether intentional or not, I do not know. Leaded Glass Door Transom Window Panel Pane 40 Triangle Panes 31 7/8" L
This lot is for a very old window pane. The piece measures 31 7/8" L x 9 1/4" W x 5/8" D I purchased this piece at an estate sale. I have no idea where it come from- door. Window, interior transom- not sure. There are 40 triangular window panes. The piece weighs 4 1/4 pounds. The panes are not broken. But there is dirt in the corners that will need to be cleaned with a Q-tip or toothpick. The metal is a lead with a mixtures of another material. I am not sure what it is. Lead alone is very soft and pliable. This is not pliable. It does not bend and it is sturdy on its own. I will ship this piece in the middle of two pieces of wood. I expect the weight to go from about 4 1/4 pounds to almost 10 pounds by the time it is wrapped. Any questions. Please ask. Fast shipper. From a smoke free home.
