This ... moreis the complete set recently removed from an old ice box refrigerator… it includes the latch. Handle and all three door hinges! As a bonus. Even the 24 screws are included! The latch and handle hinges are about 2½” tall x 1” wide, and the entire handle is 4½” long. The back of the door hinges are about 3” tall x 1¼” wide and the front piece is about 3” wide x 1½” tall. The set seems to be for a ½” to ⅝” door thickness. The handle is the only piece marked: on its back it reads“ Pat Jul 21” There was no name on the ice box or hardware. So I don’t know who made the set. As shown in the photos, the pieces are all in very good condition for their age. They all have a true vintage patina on the exposed surfaces and very little paint along the edges. I did not see any cracks or breaks in any of these brass pieces… basically just normal wear from use. It’s about 1⅓ lbs of vintage brass hardware. These antique ice box hardware pieces would be great to complete your restoration project! Take a look at the photos to best judge condition. You are bidding on a Vintage Genuine Leather Cowhide Briefcase/Satchel. The patent date on it is 1947. It was made by the Knickerbucker(maybe"bocker" But it looks like a"u" Co. Chicago. See Pic) It has definitely been used, with scuffs, worn areas, maybe even some paint splatters. Again, see pics for details. It measures 15 1/4" wide, 11 1/2" high, and depth is 5 1/2" Notice the lock says SWISS MADE on the back. Sorry, no key. Also, notice the extra space& latch on the side of the case. Beautifully made but I'm really not sure if this double latched box is from Japan. Outside measurements: 6 5/8" Across-3 3/8" Tall-3 1/4" in Depth. When opened it measures 6 3/4" Across. The interior has a half shelf in the center& measures 1 5/8" Deep-The bottom inside base measures 3" Deep. There are felt& rubber pads on the bottom-Brass Latch& 2 Brass Hinges. The Heron is a solar bird. In China& Japan the White Heron represents'Light. In parts of Africa the Heron represents communication with God.
