Antique Victorian Iron Fence 2 Sections 3 Posts
There are 2 sections of fence that measure 74" x 34" and need repair in spots. see photos) There are 3 posts, 2 of which have cast iron ball caps and the third is missing. They have 27" cast iron spikes with one having 3" broken off of the tip. The posts stand about 40" above the spikes. This fence was standing when I found it and everything available was salvaged. The posts are cracked at ground level at the top of the spikes and will need welded or repaired. All the cast iron mounting hardware appears to be present. The fence sections were wired to the hardware so you will need to buy new bolts. This would look great as a shabby antique look or restore to your own preference. There is no shipping offered, local pickup only, I will assist in loading.

Vintage 1940's Cast Iron Chain Link Cyclone Fence Post Top Cap - 7 Caps
Up for auction is a set of 7 very unusual cast iron post caps for a chain link/ cyclone fence. These came from a house in Portland. OR that was built in 1947. My neighbor took down the original cyclone fence in order to build a wood fence, so I rescued these caps. They are very heavy and weigh 1/2 lb. each! They are made to fit a 1 7/8" post, and are marked 1 7/8 on the inside. They have a very unusual raised design on the top which I have never seen before. 6 of them have been spray painted silver, so you could either leave them painted or strip them back to the original gray finish. Cast Iron Finials PAGE 25H-2 Fence Post Top Vintage Steam Punk Lot Of 5 Nice set of 5 cast iron finials. Probably were used to mount atop rectangular fence posts, but could be used for paperweights or just displayed as vintage architechtural pieces. These are heavy cast iron. 7" tall, outer measurements as bottom are 2.5" X 3" and would fit a 1-7/8" X 2-1/4" square post. The oblong hole measures 1-3/4" by 2-1/4" and probably is a hole for a fence top rail. The small curve at the top is about 3/8" diameter and may have been to attach barbed wire? for extra security. Selling 5 in a lot. It's all I have and there won't be any more after they are gone. Weight of each one is almost 2.5 pounds! Will be shipped in a medium priority flat rate box. Selling a vintage cast iron finial. It stands 5 inches tall is 3 inches at the wide spot and 1 1/2 at the top. Base measures about 1 5/8 and the hole in the bottom is 1 1/4 wide and deep. There is a hole on the side of this to attach it to whatever pole or fixture it is put on to. I suspect this may be from a Railroad fence. Light or some other Railroad use. Rare Antique Cast Iron Horse Head Hitching Post Fence Topper Finial Description For sale is an Antique Cast Iron Horse Head Hitching Post. This horse head is more rare because it was cast from one mold. This process was known as being"Cast in the round" from one piece. Most casting found for sale are made from two molds. One for the left side and the other for the right side of the horses head. Once the molds have been cast they are joined which of course leaves a visible seam which over time can become loose and begin to separate. The horse head is heavy weighing approximately 8 pounds. It is difficult to get an exact weight since part of the old hitching post is still connected but can be removed if you prefer. The head measures 8" from the tip of the nose to the back of the horses mane. 9" tall, 3" wide, and the ... moreopening for the post is 2" in diameter. The total length including the pole is 36-1/2" The original tie up ring is still there but due to age it has come apart on one side.
