These pages are doubled sided with each featuring a large engraving of a different Baby Carriage sold by the company. These pages measure about 12.25" x 10" and are in excellent condition. Three of the baby carriages shown are descibed as" Reed Body. Shellacked" and one is described as" Reed Body. Bleached" with accessories and options listed for each. We acquired a large quantity loose pages and sections from disbound 19th century hardware catalogs that dated to the 1880s and 1890s or so. Up for auction is a large group of hardware. door knob plates. there is door chain and slide locks. Key cabinet latchets, and sash lock parts. The first pictures shows alot of back plates. the top row of plates are either brass or bronze. the back plates on the bottom are steel, a couple have copper wash. Vintage CHEST OF 28-DRAWERS Hardware TOOL BOX Apothecary Cabinet SPICE Cubbies
Up for bid is the WOOD CHEST OF DRAWERS. As seen in the pictures/ as described in the title. Solid, very dense/heavy wood construction with thick steel channel brackets at rear corners(all four sides, see pics) Extremely rigid& sturdy.also heavy(see below) There clearly used be a hinged door of some sort, as one hinge remains and there is damage where the other should be(see 3rd picture) Features 28 drawers/ cubbies. They vary in size from 4-1/2" wide x 3-1/8" tall-to- 5" wide x 4-5/8" They are pretty much all slightly different sizes. Some drawers are a tad loose/wobbley and others are a bit snug. The vast majority slide in/out nice and smooth. 13 of the 28 drawers feature vintage/original paper labels. Most are Corbin(different screw types) with a few other companies(see pics) Picked from the basement of a genuine ... morehorder's house in Cuddebackville, N.Y. It was absolutely filthy. I removed all drawers and rinsed all the loose dust, dirt, etc from the cubbies. I then rinsed all of the drawers, individually and let everything air dry. Excellent, thick& contrasting patina throughout, yet more or less, clean to the touch. Cosmetic condition is as clearly and accurately shown in the pictures. Please inspect all of them carefully. The vent hole is drilled directly behind one of the legs to hide it. The legs have the capability to go very tall and have pointed tips to prevent walk-off problems. The rims are die-cast. for sale a very nice antique quartersawn oak dresser with original beveled mirror and hardware. dresser is serpentine in the front which is a very desirable and somewhat rare feature. it has a great carved harp for the mirror which hopefully the pictures will show. it has abundant quartersawn flake on the top and all the drawers and dividers. the finish is overall in very good condition. This is it! Circa 1904, manufactured in Columbus, Ohio by The Sun Manufacturing Company, this case is constructed of solid oak in original finish and original glass except for one side panel. The base of the case on the front and sides is indented. Allowing your customers to get a close-up view of your display. The front. Side, and rear glass has the slight wavy look consistent with antique glass. The glass on top is quarter inch. Beveled glass. The two original shelves are each one solid board all the way across and contain a raised lip around the border. ... moreThey each sit on four original brackets spaced 29-30 inches apart and are capable of holding significant weight. As this display case is an antique over 100 years old. It has some minor issues, albeit only cosmetic ones that don't affect functionality or durability. As stated. One side glass panel is not original to the piece. Also. There must have originally been a third door on the back of the case; now there are two with the same width of space for access. Both doors move very easily back and forth. The glass on one back door has a small crack in it near the indented finger slot. But remains intact. One top beveled glass panel has a chip on one back corner and the other back corner of the same piece of glass was reconstructed. The other top beveled glass has two cup rings and a small area in the back section of cloudiness that appears to have been caused by a spill. It was really difficult to capture the cloudiness in an image. But if you look to the left, you can see it. Unfortunately. You can see reflections in the glass better than you can see the cloudiness. Early 20th century FARM store- hardware cabinet. Allis& Chalmers farm equipment. Great. Light red paint- many bins with paper lables still attached. Cabinet is 8' long. X 70" high. Bottom section is 24" deep& tapers back to 12" The top five cubby compartments measure 5 x 5.5" high. The next two rows has 16 compartments(two rows of 4. On each end) that measure 8.25" square& the four in the center are 11.25" wide x 8.25" high.
