Antique child's high chair with tray cane seat Eastlake style
I am offering for sale a child's high chair that belonged to my mother. This chair dates from the turn of the century. And looks to me to be in the Eastlake style. I believe it is walnut. It has a cane seat that is in very good condition, a pull-down tray, and footrest. 35 1/2" tall. According to the records that my mother kept of her purchases, she bought this piece on 11/15/72, and she had the tray made for it. The tray has new screws, but could easily be changed to age-appropriate screws. Some wear consistent with age- see photos. I am estimating shipping costs but will refund excess shipping fees.

Description Up for your consideration is an ornate cast iron Eastlake inkwell with a blown glass drum ink bottle in the shape of a snail that rests on two pins. The inkwell also has an area where a pen would rest(I don't have a pen for this listing. Sorry) I purchased this item at an estate sale consisting solely of antiques. Based on other listings, this inkwell may be from the late 1800's(ca.1870) but I'm not an expert so I can't be definitive about that(any feedback from fellow eBayers is welcome! There are no stamps to indicate the maker or date manufactured. The stopper piece of the iron frame is missing(as pointed out by a fellow eBayer) there is some very slight surface rust on the iron and the inside rim of the glass opening is a little rough when you run your finger around it. The natural walnut stain allows the gorgeous grains of the wood to show. The front legs have wood wheels with brass caps. They move freely. A bit of rust is seen on the metals. These chairs have been re-upholstered by the previous owner. They appear professionally done with button-tufted backs and banded row of trim on the seat. The cushions are firm and clean without stain or odors. Note: These chairs are more of a teal blue green. These photos are showing as more of a blue color. They are greenish blue. RARE 8 EASTLAKE VICTORIAN ANTIQUE BRASS DRAWER PULLS RISING SUN BIRD
This auction is for a set of 8 large drawer pulls with drop handles and a backplate pattern with a rising sun and 2 birds and a mountain and foliage. There are very elaborate. I just bought these at a local estate auction of a local deceased physician. They are handsome and heavy. Weighing almost 2 pounds. The auctioneer called them Oriental but I believe that are Victorian/Eastlake. They are solid brass and measure 4 3/4" with the screws being 4 1/2" apart(please look at the pictures) 7 of the pulls still have the original screws and what maybe called a washer that butts up against the drawer on the inside. For the 7th pull you will need to purchase 2 screws and a washer. I see no makers name for the hardware. I have done no polishing. Some of the pieces show some wear in the center and perhaps they were the drawers that were used ... moremore. They are authentic and that is the way they should look on an authentic piece. I can find smaller, slightly more ornate reproductuction pulls for sale for $55 each, but you will know and they will look too new for an old piece, plus they are $20 more expensive! Ornate Antique Victorian Eastlake Aesthetic Mechanical Pickle Castor Frame Tongs In this Listing. Fantastic Victorian Era Mechanical Pickle Castor w/ tongs! Always a favorite. The mechanical pickle castors, while not really rare, are much harder to find than standard examples. This one features a flip-top lid hinged at the back. Matching chased bands of scrolling foliage and blossoms form the holder for the insert and the bottom edge of the domed lid. Four ornate legs with scrolls and flower blossoms lift the base of the frame almost 2" off the tabletop, with the insert resting another 1-1/4" above that point! The handle is swooped back to one side where the lid is fastened, then opens up and arches back out over the center point of the castor. The top of the handle is crowned with a glorious crest. Behind the hinge is the hook ... morefor the tongs. The tongs have tiny bows halfway up to rest your fingers on and end with tiny hands on the pincers. This castor features a 12-paneled crystal clear EAPG Early American Pressed Glass insert with sunburst rayed bottom. The panels have been acid etched with a fashionable floral design all around. The bottom has also been ground and polished. These crystal inserts are especially nice for showing off the goodies inside! Simply marked on the underside with the number 733 and Quadruple Plate. For local pickup in Northern Virginia! A late 1800's(I believe) Eastlake chair with pretty floral needlepoint seat and back. The chair is sturdy with only some surface wear. But needs reupholstering. One of the braces on the side is fastened by a wooden peg, but needs gluing. One caster is wood and the other is ceramic. The six seat springs are a little rusty, but I believe they are salvageable. Though there are a few spots of damage here and there in the needlepoint pieces, they are also salvageable-if not for reupholstering, at least for repurpose. A good project. This is a really nice old Eastlake Victorian dresser. It is in remarkably good condition. The drawers have the pegged scolloped rabbet joint very typical of the 1870's. The drawer bottoms are all original and in good condition. The top drawer which got a lot more use than the other drawers was worn on the bottom so its sides have been added onto to make them the proper size. The knobs have been replaced. But there is just one hole in the drawer indicating that the original pulls were single knobs. More pictures can be made available upon request for such things as I just described. This dresser is 98 inches tall to the top of the mirror. The dresser base is 26 inches tall to the top of the marble and it is 46 inches wide. The depth from front to back is 20-1/2 inches. Circa 1880's Walnut Gingerbread Clock Rare Jacot's Pendulum EN Welch Eastlake NR
Up for bidding is this working Walnut Eastlake Gingerbread Mantle Kitchen Clock with Alarm and a Rare Jacot's Pendulum. The works are EN Welch and dial is painted. The case has the paper label missing but it is possibly Ingraham or Gilbert. It is a key wind and comes with two keys. One for the clock and the other for the alarm. If you can sleep through this alarm then there is probably not much out there that can wake you from your sleep, this is loud! Clock is a mantle clock but appears it was hung on the wall at some time or another because it has to hooks on the back top and bottom. It measures 21-7/8" tall overall and 14-1/2" wide and 5" deep measured at the base. The varnish or stain on the wood has bubbling from age. There are two small cracks in the wood panel around the face of the dial(see picture 4) There is finish ... morewear on the wood where the door rubs when it is opened. Face has crazing, paint wear, and what looks like fill in on some of the numbers at some time in the past. Otherwise, no major damage to note. Clock is in working order with working alarm. This is an antique balance scale. The wooden base is carved with an Eastlake style design. The brass plate is signed H. TROEMNER PHILADELPHIA. The other brass plate is missing. The scale comes with 5 small weights. Wooden base has 4 round feet, measures 18 1/2" by 7 1/2" by 4 3/4" If you have any questions please email.
