Crest has a beautiful leaf carving and is topped with a scalloped crown. In general this piece is typical of the more restrained Eastlake style. Walnut with walnut burl inlay. The horn is marked"King Musical Instruments Eastlake" and is in the 48xxxx serial number range dating it to the mid 1970s. The condition is phenomenal as it shows very little signs of use, NO damage, NO wear through on the silver plating, NO repairs done. Not new, but the condition is as close to perfect as you can get. 2 antique Eastlake bin pulls / antique bird / flower
2 very old antique bin pulls recently removed from some old drawers that were part of the counter in an old country store. I am thinking that they are Eastlake style. I did have to work on them to get them looking nice. The original screws would go with them. I do have some more of these same pulls if someone would want to buy more for their project. Added note; I cleaned them with some fine steel wool. And on the close up pictures one can see that some of the wool is in the recessed areas. This sale is only for 4 cleaned up pulls. Up for auction is a rare opportunity to own up to 10 antique 1800's large scale solid wood architectural corbels from an antique New England home. These are all matching solid wood carved corbels with their original paint. Great depth in the carving. With 10 of these you could really do some interesting restoration projects or interior design using these for furniture projects. Kitchen details, shelves, or many other cool ideas. 5 Antique 1872 Eastlake Cast Iron Window Latch Sash Lock Hardware Stripped Bare
Up for auction is a set of 5 antique 1872 Easlake Victorian window latch locks plus one part. These have all been stripped to bare metal and lightly sprayed with lacquer to inhibit rust. Absolutely not reproductions! These had about 6 layers of paint. A bit of work got these to this point. Each measures 2 1/4" wide x 2" deep. Nice Eastlake design on the latch. These close by rotating the latch on the arch of the second half. It locks and squeezes the windows together to"seal" drafts. Three of these have the spring steel that allows you to keep pressure. Two are missing the spring steel. This is an easy fix by just cutting a small piece of spring steel and squeezing it into place. These still function without but work better with. I have a nice lot of 5 very old matching keyhole doorknob cover backplates for your consideration. These were cleaned of layers of old paint to reveal beautiful ornate geometric floral patterning consistent with Victorian Eastlake period designs. most of the original copper Jappaning is gone although there is quite a bit of the original finish on a couple of them. Some residual cleaning will be needed for a new finish if you so choose. These are heavy cast iron. Not pressed steel. they measure 1 1/2 x 5 1/2 inches and have a 5/8 inch doorknob collar. Description Victorian Eastlake footstool. With chip carving, has a needlepoint cover. The expertly stitched needlepoint features a floral bouquet on a brown background. It has a well hidden seam running down on one side. Although the needlepoint has some age to it, I suspect it's not original to the base. The footstool was well made and is strong and sturdy. It measures approximately 15.5" X 15.5" and is 13" high. The wooden base has turned legs. With incised bands. Scuffs are present on the legs, but still hold the stain/finish. Antique 1800's Eastlake- Iron Hook Wood Wall Hat Coat Rack Hall Tree Cane Shelf- Some pics with camera flash and some pics without camera flash- Rack measures 30" across x 7" high- Here is a very nice eastlake style rack. As you can tell from my title description it can be used for many things but was not exactly sure what to call it.I belive the wood is a walnut but i am not positive. all 5 hooks look to be cast iron and are all very solid.The hooks all swivel to the right and left, they are not stationary but do stay in place. Hooks have no cracks, breaks, or hairlines fractures and should hold fast for many more years,i have put considerable pressure on each hook to see how well they hold and they all were able to take a good amount of weight,rack has 4 white porcelain knobs at each corner i assume for decoration. They are ... moreall in great shape aswell. rack has two holes at the top for mounting onto the wall and all 4 wood pieces have 6 carved lines in them for decoration. i really do not see any damage or issues aside from one trivial insignificant chip in the middle on top of rack,it is very very hard to notice and youd really only see it if you were up close and inspecting it so i really wouldnt worry about it. i also dont believe it is in any danger of chipping any more. basicly top to bottom this is one very nice antique rack, it has a lot of character and needs a new home.it will be packed up and shipped like a new born baby. any questions just ask, need more pictures just ask. Up for auction is a beautiful and original condition antique late 1800's large scale Victorian hall tree in gorgeous tiger oak. This piece is from the same estate as the large armoire I am currently listing and is in the same pristine original condition. Great large piece or a large Victorian. This would be a wonderful parlor piece. Very ornate with detail carved moldings and beautiful original beveled glass. This glass is curved on all sides creating a wonderful shape framed with curved oak molding. The large bench seat opens for storage and would look incredible with a bench seat made to coordinate with the colors of your room. Measures 84" tall x 41" wide to the edge of the umbrella holder x 18" deep. Nice original matching cast iron coat hooks with scaled serpents or vine shapes. The brass knobs measure about 2 1/4 inches in diameter and show light normal wear i.e. light scratches but no dents. The set comes with the connecting rod and both set screws. architectual salvage victorian eastlake door plinth casing top bottom 14 piece
lot of 14 architectural door frame pieces. Plinth. they all came from different doorways in the same house. 7 are tops& 7 are bottoms. i dont know that they were pairs but they could be pairs. they all need the paint removed or cleaned up& some have tiny nail holes to fill. they are pine& yes the backs are wet from a bath. Sargent& Co. and is marked"Pat. May 1880" on the back of the thumb press. It measures approx. 12.5"w x 12.5"h. It is in good condition; the thumb press is slightly bent and overall the plate has just a slight bow. A little green verdigris that I have not attempted to polish. Beautiful Brass Antique Eastlake Hinges - 4 Inch -SECOND set
This is the second listing for a beautiful old hinge set(I have two- this one in okay shape. The other is really nice shape) All three hinges included in sale. I am not sure of the material, brass plate on iron or steel maybe? They are quite heavy- so I am sure they can handle a large door. Nice ball head on the pins and a really great design. With this second set, one of the hinges sticks and needs to be loosened up and another of the hinges, one of the pins(as you can see in the picture) does not go in. Some without- Here is a gorgeous and i mean gorgeous eastlake wall pocket. has really nice carvings and a gorgeous womans roman esque face on the front.i see no damage or issues what so ever. No holes, dings, scratches, cracks, hairlines, nothing. it is in tip top shape.has its original chains and brackets aswell. if you notice the carvings on this piece are very nicely done.on alot of later eastlake pieces the carvings became sort of shotty and not symetrical and just sort of poorly done and rushed.i believe this wall pocket to be a very early eastlake piece judging by the extra nice carvings and attention to symetrical detail, and the very old hardware.this one was done ... morebeautifully top to bottom. i meant to dust it before i took pictures but i forgot so any blemishes are just particles of dust, this piece really is in amazing condition.
