Antique Eastlake Cast Door Hinges 4 inches by 4 inches Original Vintage Heavy
Up for auction is three sets(pairs) of old cast hinges. These were covered in multiple layers of paint. Some remains in the grooves in a few places. I believe paint residue remains in the"joint" and does not allow some of the pegs to go all the way in. I did not take them apart or force them together in fear of bending/breaking something. You are buying these as is. They all measure 4 X 4 which is stamped on the back side of each. The set of 4 is 7 inch in total length and the single set is 7-1/4 in total length. Hello, We are selling a set of 4 matching vintage ornate Eastlake style like metal door knob back plates. There are no marker marks on these plates and a magnet does stick to the metal. They have a beautiful engraved scroll design. They are tarnished. There is some minor slashes of paint on edges and back that is easily removed. These would clean up nicely and is being left up to buyer to do so if they wish. I believe this is how they should be due to lip on back but they do not necessarily lie flat, there is no major shape damage. They all measure approx 5 1/2" h X 1 1/2" w. Antique Eastlake Victorian-style Wood Dresser
This is a great old dresser. It has nice wood grain. I'm not sure if it's oak. Cherry or walnut. Take a look at the pictures. There is a marble insert with the old-fashioned glove drawers on either side. The marble is undamaged. There are locks on all of the drawers. We have one key. The dresser is in very good. Pre-loved condition. The drawers have dovetailing and the drawer pulls appear to be original. There is no mirror. There is no mildew odor and the dresser is very clean. Here are the rough measurements. 38 1/2" wide- 18" deep- 381/2" tall from the floor to the top of the small drawers.

Cast iron stool appears to have its original dark green paint with black and gold highlights(see photos) The design of the cast iron work appears to have some Eastlake pierced open work grill design. In addition to the ornate Victorian drape effect of oak leaves and the scrollwork feet, and the flowing/swirling Art Nouveau oak leaf and vine designs. Appears to have original pine or soft wood cover top. With is covered with the original straw– the straw covered with remnants of original jute material. The jute is covered with a 1930s era cloth material. And covering this ... morematerial is a worn dark forest green velvet. The wood stool top is easily recoverable if new owner should so desire. Four Antique 1800's Brass Ornate Victorian Eastlake Style Hinges With Caps-Heavy
Four large heavy antique Victorian Eastlake solid brass hinges with caps from the 1800's in a rare pattern. These hinges are complete but do need a detailed cleaning. Size measures 4" by 4" on the square base. From tip of cap to other tip of cap in length is 6 3/4" I found a treasure box of these antique hardware items in the barn of an old estate. Most having the same rare pattern. Will be listing the other items and will combine shipping.

All the drawer pulls are authentic cast iron antiques as is the holder for the window curtain rod. Three of the drawer Pulls can use light wire brushing. Cleaning in order to restore them to original appeal. Please see photos. The ornate black pull that was restored is dated on the underside-Oct 14th. 1872 I am going to provide the measurements for the drawer pulls. ANTIQUE EASTLAKE WALL CABINET CURIO SHELF AESTHETIC EBONIZED VGC 34" x 24" x 7"
BEAUTIFUL VICTORIAN CABINET EASTLAKE VERY GOOD CONDITION 34" X 24" X 7" I wanted to point out the"issues" first. However, this is a wonderful antique Victorian cabinet. Looking at pictures#3 and#4, they are the left and ride sides of the cabinet. It is really easy to miss if it is not pointed out, but on the left side of the cabinet, there is a piece of wood missing that is on the right side. This cabinet back was pieced together, so that piece came off and apparently quite a long time ago because if has been restained or painted somewhere in the past and that piece really looks finished. You would not know that piece was"missing" if not for the other side. Also, it has various scrapes and rubbing on the edges where the color has rubbed off. On the inside cabinet in the middle where the mirrored glass is, ... morethere was some scratching in years past that you can see from the indentations, however, it has been repainted over. I am sorry, I just ran out of pictures, but please feel free to request more. Then, the latch for the middle section I have taken off, as it was just a nub on the outside and you could not pull on it. It should not be too difficult to find another handle with a latch to replace, but it does look complete without it. You just have to use something to hook in the hole to open it. Please refer to the pictures as part of the description, and I will gladly provide more upon request. Now. Having said all of that. It is a beautiful Victorian Antique period cabinet made by a cabinet and furniture company of the period that is synonymous with quality, class, and style-Eastlake. You just don't get any better than that for antique Victorian furniture. This is a solid cabinet that makes and statement and looks very good given the fact that is was made somewhere during the time that our presidents were James Garfield, Grover Cleveland, and Benjamin Harrison. This is a piece that will get even rarer in the future and that you will not find at your local furniture stores. S

The simplicity of design of this splendid piece is more in the lightly adorned style that Eastlake preferred. Much of his work was interpreted with more embellishment. Generally disdained by the influential designer. This example in finished in butternut glaze on solid cherry wood. I think it is in the Eastlake style with small carved out accents on a ebonized wood frame, there is an old cardboard backing which is still nailed in at the top, I did not move the backing any further, there is a lovely matting with an oval center which appears to be silver, silver plated, or metal, the oval is surrounded with a lovely satin fabric with a ruffled look, the color is sort of a teal but I think this a result of fading and it was probably a more prominent green or blue. The glass is dirty, the matting looks faded but in good overall condition, the wood frame is also in good condition with a small slice of wood taken out at one of the feet, see pic. Antique Victorian Era Eastlake Double Frame Gesso With Gilt This Antique Double Frame features a rather ornate Gold Gesso outer frame. Within that frame sets another frame in gesso with gold gilt. That is beveled in design. The outer frame appears to be in pretty good condition, free from cracks, etc.but does have an aged patina to the gilt. The inner frame is in good condition as far as being free from cracks, chips to the gesso, however the gilt does show some signs of wear like minor scuffs, and wear to the gilt. The door bell pull lever was made from solid brass and has a nickel plating. There are a few dents and scratches from it years of use. The nickel has a few areas where it has worn. The finish color has aged nicely so as to give it a pleasing antique color. I just sold an identical one that had stamped on the back PAT date of JAN 23 1877. This good old lever works as it should with the normal amout of side play in the lever. The door bell would mount on one side of the door and the long lever opost on this would go throughout the door and trip the old mechanical door bell. Today I have for sale an antique set of 3 Germany in a circle(photo 3) heavy-duty door hinges and one antique cast-iron East lake style ornate inside security lock. 2 of the hinges are missing inside spacers but the pins are intact. The spring on the inside security lock is in excellent working condition. Hinges are 5"x 4 1/2" The security lock is 7" x 2" not counting the spring loaded catch or pull and chain.
