Vintage Fenton "DIAMOND POINT COLUMNS" ~2~ for $ of ~1~
7" 11" w 3 1/2" base. These were 2 of my first in the early 70's and they have not aged as I have. Free of chips. Knicks or cracks but likely to have manufacturer air bubbles or straw marks. Marigold in color the taller is white with an Alaskan finish and shorty is almost pumpkin colored. Both tops have nice carnival iridescence.

These are some older antique wooden columns from my house. I'm not sure of how old they are but the house of origin is 1909. There is some minor scuffs. One of the tops has a little bare wood showing(as shown in pictures) They measure 5 feet 4-3/4" tall with bases that are about 8"x8" I am not able to ship or deliver these. Antique Crystal Vanity Jar Sawtooth Columns. Marked Sterlina Lid w/Floral Motif
I don't know much about this piece. I am guessing it is a small vanity jar of sorts. It is approximately 3 1/2 inches tall with the lid on. I'm not really positive if it's glass or crystal. It has 12 sawtooth like columns. It does have several creases and waves in the glass and you can see in photo 2 there is one crease on a column that has cracked some but it's still intact. The lid is Sterling. It is marked STERLINA I believe, the A might be a G but it looks like in A to me- the T also looks like an I to me but it's probably a T. There are a few small dings and wrinkles around the edge of the lid from use but nothing serious, it's still works great screws on and off nicely. ARCHITECTURAL ANTIQUES : PAIR OF VINTAGE CARVED MAHOGANY COLUMNS
VERY NICE PAIR OF SMALL( 19 1/2" HT. MAHOGANY COLUMNS WITH HAND CARVED CAPITALS: The overall condition of this handsome pair of matched columns is very good. There are some small chips on each capital. But with the dark mahogany finish. The chips do not stand out. The tapered shaft has mahogany veneer. The varnish on the veneer has aged to a fine stippled surface. The stippling is very uniform and of a consistent color and texture on both columns. One column does have some abrasions on the shaft and a small chip and surface crack at the bottom. Most of this damage is on one side, allowing it to be placed out of sight on the back when displayed. The hand carved capitals are in a Corinthian style. Each capital has a large raised oval panel at the center of each face. Acanthus leaf carving is draped down from each volute. If you collect ... morearchitectural items, you know that it is very difficult to find a matched pair of columns with the style and quality of this pair. The overall height of each column/capital is 19 1/2" The column portion is approx. 15 3/4" in height. The shaft tapers from approx. 2 1/2" diam. at the top to approx. 3" diam. at the bottom. The capitals are approx. 3 3/4" in height and approx. 4" square at the top surface. These are a very nice pair of columns, with very nicely carved capitals. This is a stylish grey and white modern hand-painted soft porcelain display plate featuring a scene from St Petersburg. Russia. It's called Rostral Columns. The three letters in Cyrillic on the back stamp are ЛФЗ. Or LFZ, which stands for Lomonosov Farforovyi Zavod, or the Lomonosov Porcelain Factory– originally the Imperial Porcelain Factory, or IPM, in St. Petersburg. The factory was nationalized by the Communists after the Russian Revolution and renamed the State Porcelain Factory, or GFZ. The name was changed to Lomonosov Porcelain Factory in 1925. And it remained in business under that name until 2005, when the company reverted to its previous name, the Imperial Porcelain Factory, though the Lomonosov name is still used. ANTIQUE QUARTER SAWN TIGER OAK FIREPLACE MANTEL with COLUMNS CURVED SHELF 60"
PLEASE CAREFULLY READ OUR SHIPPING SECTION PRIOR TO PURCHASE We are pleased to offer this. Beautiful, antique fireplace mantel/shelf. The mantel is old(early 1900s) and came from a home in the St. Louis area. It is constructed of quarter sawn oak with an extremely nice grain pattern. It features a long and deep, contoured/curved shelf with full, round columns(not halved and attached to the surround) for support. The columns are fairly substantial in diameter and are also quarter sawn. They retain their original bases which are identical to their capitals. The surround extends above the shelf and is fixed so that the center point of the grain pattern aligns with the center of the shelf. The grain on the top of the surround changes directions at the mid point so that the grain pattern on the surround faces inward toward the center. The piece ... moreis untouched so that it retains the original flat nails/screws as well as the old, large dowels which attach the shelf to the surround. The top of the shelf is not as ornately patterned as the balance of the piece and has some stain runs/drips on it. It probably, originally housed a piece of marble. The shelf is deepest at its center section and is rounded on the sides above the columns. It is a thick piece and measures 4" in thickness. The opening, which once surrounded a mirror, is beveled and not simply flat. This is an incredible mantel shelf. It is in very good condition with very little evidence of age or use. There are very few nicks or scratches and the finish is very good. It measures 60" long. 31.75" tall and it extends 12" from the wall at its deepest point. The columns are 21" tall. They are 5.5" in diameter at their bases and capitals and are 4" in diameter otherwise. The shelf section is 57.5" long. It is 8.75" deep at the ends and contours to a depth of 11" at the center.
