Up for sale I have a set of 4 brass wall sconces/ lights. I don't know for certain if they are solid brass but I think they are. Each has a tag on the back that says Joseph Richter New York. The back plate measure about 7 1/8 inches tall and 4 7/8 inches wide. The arm comes out about 7 inches from the plate as best I can measure. The white plastic sleeves have chips cracks and most likely will need to be replaced. They have a few marks/ scuffs I tried to take closeup pictures but my camera will not pick them up. This is a wonderful brass sconce with a super patina. The wall canopy is 4 1/4" in diameter. The wall canopy does have some age/stress cracks. It has the original Bryant turn paddle switch that works. It has the original wiring that needs to be redone. The sconce extends approx 8" from the wall with the shade on. The shade has 5 panels of dark textured amber glass. There is no damage to the glass. It has a 2 1/4" fitter. The shade is 5" deep. The bottom diameter is the same. Thanks for looking! These pieces were most likely hand made as they have slight differences in thickness of the arms and one weighs 4 pounds the other almost 4.25 pounds. BRASS"ARROW" SCONCE Up for bid is this beautiful. Exceptional double sconce made by the Decorative Arts Co. Ltd. The sconce is listed as#2096 and is handcrafted. And lacquered. The label is still attached to the back of the sconce. The Brass is shinny and in good condition with no dents or scratches. It does appear to need some cleaning. The measurements are: 20 inches from the top of the arrows to the bottom of the arrows. And 14 1/2 inches from candleholder to candleholder. This is an old antique Bronze or brass electric wall sconce. Quite heavy for it's size. It has 2 scrolled arms that hold ornate design candelabra style lights. Each has a light socket inside. The candles are made of hard plastic type material. The back section that goes against the wall has a cherub style face. It measures 9 1/2" from top to bottom. It is approximately 6 3/4" wide. It will stick out from the wall about 3 inches. There is some tarnishing. Heavy greenish on one part. It will need to have updated wiring.

This piece dates to the mid to late 1800s. The sconce has two arms. Beautifully cast in the form of leaves and blossoms. The back of the sconce is done as a laurel wreath with a panel of black glass in the center. In the middle of the black glass is a cast profile of a helmeted Greco-Roman warrior. This decoration is quite detailed and intricate, depicting even the curls in the warrior's hair and the dog and bird in relief on the side of the helmet. The bobeches or wax drips of the sconce unscrew for ease of cleaning. The back of the sconce has a hook for hanging. The sconce is in great condition. The glass is in ... moregood shape. This 2 light sconce measures 19 1/4" tall x 12 1/2" wide and will pertrudes from the wall 10 1/2" I believe that this was an old converted gas sconce. But unsure if that was the case or it was just made to look that way. It looks victorian to me but you be the judge. The only neg. thing I can say about this lamp is that I should have had them polish it up for me, but it was too expensive.
