For sale is a 124 year old sliding barn/carriage door with a window. We are asking $750.00 All the hardware is there and it is included. The sliding barn/carriage door is about eight feet wide by eight feet in height with a two foot by two foot window where the horse could put its head thru. This door has not seen the light of day or been opened for about fifty years. It is in a stall that many years ago was converted into a granny unit. If you buy it you will have to remove it. I will not be much help. This is listed as local pick up only, however it might be possible for something other.

NY" with another marking of being"PAT'D AUG 1871" It measures from the top to bottom approximately 17 inches, at its widest point it is a hair larger than 5 3/8 inches(the widest point is the mounting points to either side of the Lyon& St John marking. The roller wheel is approximately 5 inches in diameter on the outside and the part the would be placed on the track is approximately 4 1/2 inches in diameter(these measurements are estimates as I had to hold the tape measure above the the wheel about an inch. This one weighs approximately 4 pounds 3 ounces. The second Barn Door Roller ... moreis stamped with the number 4. This roller is also a"LYON& ST JOHN GREENE. NY" roller. The markings are a bit harder to make out, this one like the 5 also has the PAT'D mark. From top to bottom it measures approximately 14 1/2 inches, at it's wides point it is 4 7/8 inches across. The roller wheel outside diameter is approximately 4 inches and the interior diameter that would rest on the track is approximately 3 1/2 inches. This one weighs approximately 3 pounds 4 ounces. With both rollers the roller moves freely. These are some AWESOME and RUSTIC VINTAGE HARDWARE. Just think of the comments you'll get on these when added to your home, barn or project. In my brief online research I was only able to find a pair of#4's where the dealer was looking to get $400 for them. Pair of Antique Vintage Cast Iron Barn Door Hardware Slider Rollers Hangers
Up for bids is a nice set of barn door roller hinges for track mounted doors. This set of hinges each have a set of rollers and door mount. They were removed from a barn in Ephrata. PA. The hinges measure approx 8.25" from the top of the mount to the bottom of the roller. The rollers measure approx 7.5" from the outside of the first roller to the outside of the second roller and are approximately 3/8" wide. Each roller spins freely and each rocker articulates freely as well. There are no cracks or breaks to these. They have great patina and rustic appearance due to the age related wear and minor rust and could be cleaned(i.e. sand blasting. Solvent, wire brush, etc) The size of the mount/track that these slide on is unknown. Please see my other listing for another identical set.

Antique Allith Cast Iron Fire / Barn Door Hangers, Steampunk Hanger Hardware
REFURBISHED Antique Allith Cast Iron Fire/ Barn Door Hangers. Large Door Hanger Hardware, Steampunk Size: 23 ½” tall. 7 ¾” wide, 3 ¼” deep Weight: ~12.5 lbs(each) These hangers were salvaged many years ago from a warehouse located on Greens Bayou. Near the Houston Ship Channel. I’m told that the warehouse was built in 1914. The outward-facing surfaces of the hangers are nicely contoured. I’ve cleaned them up by removing the large rivet that held the wheel in place. Removing the rusted needle bearings from the wheel, sandblasting the hanger and wheel, replacing the rivet with a 5/8” square-head bolt, and replacing the needle bearings with two oil impregnated, powdered metal, bronze bushings(one inside the other) The bushings fit loosely, and the wheel rolls smoothly. The nut has been tack welded to the bolt to ensure that it ... moredoes not back off. I sandblasted the hangers just enough to remove most of the rust. But not all of it. I didn’t want them to look like reproductions, and I wanted to retain the warm brown color. I have lightly sprayed them with oil to help prevent additional rusting. These 2 hangers are not identical(see photos) On the back. One of them says“Allith Fire Door Hanger” and below that, Allith” The other says“Allith Fire Door Hanger” and below that, Saino Special” Photo#8 shows the two hangers back-to-back. Free shipping.
