The light reflects so well off the the candle wick detailing that runs from top to bottom. It is blue with beautiful-highly detailed clear glass. All components are in excellent condition and are from the mid century era. The shade and stem compliment each other nicely. The shade measures about 12 inches in diameter and is in wonderful condition with no chips or cracks. The metal components have been sanded and repainted a glossy white. The original Leviton porcelain socket has been rewired and accepts a 150 watt bulb. This amazing light fixture hangs 16 inches from the ceiling. The mounting hardware will be included. The flash from the camera bri ngs the colors out brighter. Actually the gold is brilliant against the bronze and brass, but not so bright as in picture 4 and 2. The hang of the fixture is about 31 inches and can be reduced by taking out some of the diamond shaped chain. The sockets are new and rewired. The candle covers are original and wor n. Very unique and original. From the 1930s. Hanging hardware will come with the fixture. Bulbs are not included. The width is 19 1/2 inches. Your time and consideration is appreciated as you are by us. This piece of art carries strong lines and curves. Overall, the entire fixture is solid, nothing is loose, bent, or damaged. Obviously, for something of this age it's in need of either cleaning or a polishing, depending on the buyer's preference. One sconce has a visible crack in it, though it's not damaging to the structure of the glass from what I can tell. The wiring is original and would need to be replaced, though the sockets look very clean. There is a small bag of installation hardware. I've lightly washed the glass sconces and brass chandelier, but some light grime may still remain. Beautiful thick milk glass with delicate handpainted flowers on center tier. Fantastic skyscraper shape with 3 tiers and great depth. The part that goes on the ceiling is metal with thick plaster like paint coating. This has a few small fleabites in the paint as shown in pics. The milkglass has a few small chips on around the top rim where it rests on the metal part not very visible when assembled, and one chip where the finial hangs as shown in pics again not very bothersome when assembled. This Art Deco Chandelier was manufactured and signed by the Riddle Company. During the 1920's- 30's and has been rewired and restored all parts are original. The ugly flaking paint was stripped to the bare metal. New paint applied, plus glazes and two coats of protective clear finish. It is rare to find an intact original chandelier from this period: thus the asking price. The chandelier begins with a canopy ornamented bead detail and with an ornate stem attaching to the chain. Beneath, the chandelier body is an elaborate design with acanthus accents. Four chandelier arms, joined by a band adorned with a neoclassical design midway between each of the arms. This chandelier has been restored to its former glory. Silver is the dominate color, with accents of gold. The trim on the arms is gold as are most of the details. For sale is this very neat 1920's Art Deco industrial era hanging lamp! It is made of aluminum. All original and very neat! Comes with a bulb adapter so you can used modern bulbs. I bought this from a man who ran a photography studio and had these hanging in his studio. The lamps still retains it's original manufacture sticker that reads Alzak Aluminum Reflector and the other reads Union Made. These are the real deal! This auction is for 1 hanging lamp, but if interested I have 9. The largest ring measures 19in across and the hanging rod measures 25in. I have seen people cut the rod down for lower ceilings and it looks real neat. Has original wires, they worked for the last owner but I'd recommend re wiring! The shades are frosted with beautiful-highly detailed clear glass. All components are in excellent condition and are from the 1940's era. There is some minor pitting to the chrome finish that only enhances the vintage nature of this vintage beauty. The fixture measure about 21 inches in diameter and is in good condition with no chips or cracks. The glass body is in very good condition with no chips or cracks. The ceiling canopy is new. The socket housing is vintage but has been repainted. There are five new bakelite sockets pictured with 60 watt bulbs along with all new wiring. Good Art Deco Chandelier with Five Shades -- Brass and Painted Metal
Here's a high-quality light. Almost entirely solid cast brass, well-proportioned and with a pleasing design and decorative elements. It hangs down around 29 inches as shown(10 inches of chain can be removed) and it's 18 across. The bottom switch works for the occasional light show: 2 on, 3 on, 5 on, all off. Good condition overall, rewired from the central cluster through the canopy. Vintage Ornate Cast Metal Art Deco Chandelier Hanging Light
Gorgeous Fixture! Needs lots of TLC and being sold As Is for restoration. The main body of the fixture has a diameter of approximately 10 1/2" with the arms for the sockets extending from that. It measures approximately 14" tall. The flush mount ceiling piece for this is included in the sale. But has some dents. Fixture has scuffing and corrosion to the finish.
