For sale is an amazing Art Deco Hanging Fixture. It has a fixture that holds 5 Slipper Shades. The shades do not have any cracks nor chips in any visible area- along the inner ledges that slide inside the slots of the fixture there are some very light chips but again nothing visible when hung. This shade is so beautiful with the rolling vines and grapes etc. It really is stunning. I do want to point out that one of the arms at one point years ago had been welded or reattached. You can see in one of the pictures it has some corrosion from the weld on the bottom and also on the inside at the seam- I never even tried to clean this off.so I am sure it could be wiped up good or touched up a bit to further hide- but the arm is sturdy and the fixture is still so beautiful although it has the one imperfection. Vintage Art-Deco Ceiling Light Glass Shade from Crystal Chandelier Victorian
A very nice collectible decorative piece a Vintage Deco Victorian Ceiling Light Fixture Crystal Chandelier Glass Shade form the 1940s. This was from an estate sale in Dallas area. It along with some others that will be listed in next days are from old homes in South Dallas(Oak Cliff) that were torn down or demolished years ago. These belonged to the gentleman that owned the business of tearing down the houses. This piece has no chips or cracks and is a thick heavy glass. I will say as you feel the edges you think there is a chip but its the way the glass was made. There is also a couple of small bubbles in the glass. It is 11" across and 4 1/4" tall while sitting on the bottom piece as seen in last picture

Antique cast iron art deco polychrome five light chandelier ceiling light
For sale is an antique 1920's-30's polychrome cast iron five arm chandelier. It is in its original condition(all I did was clean it and rewire parts of it) and measures about 15 inches across and about 24 inches down from the canopy to the bottom of the bulb. The fixture has good working wiring with new wiring from the bulb holders to the top of the canopy. I did not replace the wiring to the original porcelain bulb holders since they seem to be in good working order(not brittle or showing any breaks in the wiring) It also has a good working switch on the bottom of light that turns it off an on. The chandelier is painted a bronze color with orange flowers and green leaves around the outside of the fixture. All of the color in the fixture is original and does show some minor loss of paint and there is some discoloration to the bronze ... morepaint(especially the canopy- see pictures) Chandelier still looks awesome when hung and is ready to install. This is a great light to use as is or to further restore. It is a beautiful fixture that will add a great antique look to whatever room you place it in. This vintage. Markel 5-slip shade chandelier is original. It was manufactured by the Markel Electric Company sometime in the 1920-1930’s. The semi-flush mount chandelier has a classic Art Deco ziggurat. Skyscraper and foliates embellishments, as well as, striking light honey colored shell detailed slipper shades. I was advised by experts not to recondition the chandelier. Doing so would only devalue it. The piece has a beautiful aged patina. There are so small paint chips on the chandelier. One of the slip shades has a pin-hole size mark. This is to be expected of a fixture almost 90-years old. The chandelier has an aluminum frame and an iron canopy. Nice large five light Markel glass slip shade flush mount ceiling chandelier from the 1930s. Restored and has a beautiful copper finish with a satin sealer. The fixture, all parts and the sockets have been cleaned restored and rewired. Everything works well and looks beautiful. The glass shades slip firm and snug in the slots of the mixed metal frame which is on the heavy side along with the ceiling canopy. The glass is in very good condition without cracks, and minor chipping around the fitters, with a flea bite on the side of one of the shades not noticable but for description purposes. For the age they are great. This is such a great fixture for low ceilings and so much light can be produced from this chandelier with the five medium base sockets. Here is a favorite bare bulb 3 socket light fixture from the 1930s. This fixture is a lightweight mixed metal frame and has been cleaned and rewired with new sockets and wiring. The fixture is restored with the original coloring Lincoln used. The pictures are with a flash. So this causes the greens and reds to be a shade brighter. The fixture is very warm with the Brass and Bronze mixed colors with a Gold base. The fixture hangs with three set of chains that lead to a bell and a single chain to the ceiling canopy. The chains have been painted and sealed with a satin clear and has some small paint chipping or nick on a couple of the links for description purposes only, is not clearly noticeable. The fixture has a single on and off turn power switch that will allow manual power if no switch is available. Markel Art Deco Craftsman Peach 30s Glass Slip shade 3 light Fixture Chandelier
There are many choices in lighting. What is great about these Antique light fixtures is the quality that was in mind when made. This is a Markel made in the USA from the 30s. It has been cleaned and color matched with a nice antique gold. The frame is a medium weight solid mixed metal that will last another 100 years and the sockets have been cleaned and rewired. They are copper and much better quality than what is out there to replace them. The chain may have some paint nicks. But nothing noticeable and for description purposes only. The fixture hang is 35 1/2 inches with the finial and we can shorten that for you if requested. There is plenty of lead wire to add chain also. The fixture body is 15 1/2 inches and the fixture without the shades is 12 inch width when the shades are installed the width is 14 inches. Up for sale is this vintage ART DECO STYLE SLIP SHADE CEILING FIXTURE that was removed from the MAX FACTOR HOLLYWOOD STORE when it closed in the early 1990s and stored ever since. The store was in Hollywood for many decades and all the major stars went there to get their make up done. They actually had separate rooms for brunettes. Red heads and blonds! I have two fixtures available and am auctioning them this week. The store was remodeled a couple times over the years, but always kept the art deco style. These fixtures seem like they are probably from the 1960s remodel. The wiring is modern and the metal is brass-like. The slip covers, as you can see are a wonderful frosted glass in an art deco pattern. All indications are that they are working, although I could not test them. The rectangular ornate glass piece measures 7 1/4" tall and 4.25" wide and weighs about 1.3 pounds before packing. This hangs on the side of the lamp. NOTE: You are only buying one of the side glass rectangular pieces when you purchase this item. Unless you choose quantity 2(we have 2) I only include the other photos so you can see what the lamp or chandelier looks like that this glass piece fits. I sold the lamps weeks ago but I have some left over glass pieces. Up for Auction is this LOVELY Vintage 1951 Glass Art Deco chandelier! The details on this light makes this a VERY VERY unique lighting display! Ebay wanted me to mention the county of manufacture- NO clue- prob in 1951 it would be the United State. But i suspose Japan and China were in existance back then, so who knows for sure- LOL. you will notice in the one picture that shows this light hanging- it has been in this home since the home was built in 1951. Patiently waiting for YOU! I have TWO OF THESE! They are IDENTICAL! In every way- condition etc- You can buy one and i'll put the other one on ebay if you don't want it for the same price. The 2 light fixture is Stunning with a reverse frosted shade with some kind of 3D flower pattern(see pic) and a really really cool pattern around the rim. People who know these things would probably ... moretell you exactly what the patterns are called- but i am not an expert on art deco or other types of lighting. The Incredible Art Deco stem features a flowering stem with 4 small(i think plastic? in the 50's? rosettes. The ceiling cover is a nice art deco painted metal with silver rim. BEAUTIFUL! Shade measures about 12" across. Finished with the Original Solid brass ART Deco finial. This piece extends down approx 17 inches without measuring the finial. But can be shortened by removing a few of the chain links. Wiring is all original. This is in Excellent(Almost PERFECT) vintage condition. There are NO chips on the rim.
