It's origin is France and is from around the 1930's. Shade is signed by Ros(synonym for french glass artist Degue) It's made out of thick-walled. Molded glass. The glass has a frosted surface. This used to have a bronze canopy and chains to hang. I've found the exact same one on ebay in it's entirety at item no. 231122298771, so you can see how this was hung. I can't see why you couldn't re-create this to it's original form. It is absolutely stunning. Art deco style. Measures 13 3/4" wide x 3 5/8" thick/tall. There is one 1/2" hairline crack which is in the inside of the bowl at one of the holes. It doesn't go al the way ... morethrough to the frosted part. I have added the pictures above. It really isn't a huge deal. There is also a"indent" which I truly believe is from the factory. I wouldn't call it a chip, it's soft to the touch, no jagged edges. That is pictured above. I just mention these to be totally honest. There really isn't any huge damage to this beautiful antique light fixture. It comes with those two ball type items and it's screw, if you will. 3 Matching Light Fixtures from the 1920's or 1930's with 6 light sockets on each. In good condition with No broken. Missing or mis-matched parts. They should be rewired(at least the upper wires in the chain) and would be better with a fresh coat of paint and new cardboard candles. The original light sockets are in very usable condition. Fixtures are made of cast metal, the chains are steel, and the loops, canopy top cover and finials are brass. They are painted gold, and the top surfaces are an orange brown primer color. The full length with upper chain extensions are 44" long. If you did not use the upper extension, they would hang down 22" or you could also change the chain length. Beautiful Large Antique Carnival Glass Light Fixture Shades. Set of 2. Found in a house built in the 20's and guessing they are original to the house or added shortly after being built. These are beautiful heavy glass.I have never seen any like this and couldn't find any similar on Ebay. They would really set off a chandelier or be nice on a pair of table lamps. The top appears to fit a standard 2" fitter. They are 6 1/4"tall and 6 3/4" wide at widest section. The color would go with just about anything. Top is clearish- whiteish and bottom is a simple iridescent caramel color. Beautiful heavy glass with no scratches or cracks. Several small chips to bottom edge. One chip is larger than the others. But still doesn't detract from the glass(this is the chip that is shown in the picture) Bottom edge is thick and appears ... moreto have been machine cut when made.I really wonder if some of the chips are part of the manufacturing. Vintage Maritime Ship Light Spot Lamp Antique Marine Flood Fixture Ship Military
This auction is for one vintage ship spot light. We bought this fixture from a local estate. It belonged to a man that served in the Navy as a dentist. This was part of a large lot of vintage dental equipment that we purchased. We were told that it was from one of the many military ships that he practiced on. The fixture does work. There is a separate bulb socket mounted on the plate that supports the round light diffuser that is not wired. But the bulb in the center of the diffuser works(see pictures) Cosmetically, there are scratches and plenty of wear. It was painted black at some point and that paint is flaking and there is surface rust present(see pictures) It has been in storage for quite a while and it needs to be cleaned. Antique Vintage Motel Wall Sconces Brass Light Fixture Lamps Deco Nuevo You are bidding on an antique/vintage pair of Wall Sconces These wall Sconces are beautiful! They are solid brass and are the kind that hang upside down or(bulbs pointed down) They need some tulip shades but are in good condition. These are the kind you would see in motels in the early 1900s. They are probably from the 1920s to 1930s. I do not know if they work or if they need rewired but it looks like it'd be fairly easy with the way they are wired. They are cast iron and have a pull string. These are very hard to find in a set and are from the 1920s to early 1930s. Each lamp has a separate turn key on/off switch so you can light as many or as few as you like. Bottom milk glass with finials match the top shades. The shades. Including chimneys, are all in great condition.no chips, cracks or repairs. The chimneys do have some wear where they fit inside the metal base around the socket. Shade have a few marks on the very bottom where they rest on the wires. The metal does have some wear and patina. The wood has a few small spots where it looked like the finish was scratched by the shade being put on but has been touched-up.
