This is a Pair of Antique Minnesota Treadle Sewing Machine Hinges. They were from a model K and may fit other treadle cabinets. This style only tilts backwards for machine maintenance. They have an antique black and copper finish with some discoloration. They are in good working order. They come with all original mounting hardware. Please verify these measurements before buying. The main body measures 5/8" diameter x 1/2" tall. Not including the screw. The entire body with screw measures 1-1/8" tall. The pin measures 1/4" diameter and is 5/8" long. The hinge on the rights pin is half way out and needs to be pounded back in. I put some water on the right hinge to bring out the details. The hinges would have been door hinges for a very old cabinet. They measure 2 1/2in tall x 3 1/2in wide, opened flat. These aren't trunk hinges, and would have gone on a door. 2 antique windows/ cabinet doors.These were taken out of the attic area of an old house that a relative razed years ago. We have had them in our possession for about 30 years. They were in the same area of the house but we do not know if they were side by side or separate in the room. We are selling them as a pair. They look like glass but I do not know that for sure. They look leaded but again. I have no way of knowing.is there a way to check) The frames are in good condition and are put together dove tail style. The wood looks like oak. Notice both window side by side, there is a bit of difference in the pattern but you have to look close to see it. One side of the frame appears to be darker than the other side. They appear to have some type of finish on them that will need to be removed for them to be great looking. They are marked 4 X 4 B55 and they weigh 15 ounces each. My favorite of the lot is the 2 copper hinges that measure 4.5" high x 3.25" wide. Also included are 2 swinging door hinges that do work but need to be cleaned up a bit. They meausure 3.75" high and 3" wide and they do work! There are 4 metal door knobs(2 measure 2.25" in diameter and 2 measure 2" in diameter. The larger door lock mechanism of the 2 is marked RHCo and the other is not marked except for a 2 printed in 1 corner. Again the corrosion is only on the surface and the 2 sets of hinges can easily be cleaned up. There are also 2 latches and 1 bar that the knobs screw on to. It is finished in a very Arts& Crafts manner with the copper hinges and Escutcheon. Note the two tone in the oak door pannels. The Cabinet is in excellent condition. The lock hole to the cabinet has undergone a little repair work as it had come away. Please see pics. There are a few marks to the wood. Namely to the the upper surface. The front of the base to the left has a chip to the wood which looks to be old. The key is present and the lock works great. This item has been in the family for a while. It belonged to my mother. But she passed of cancer. I do not know much about this item, but the money that I get for it, I will pass along to my father. She bought this many moons ago, and I know it is extremely old. It is made of copper for the most part, and the handles are made of porcelain. On the handles that connect it to the pot, are lion figures. I do believe it was meant for carrying coal at one point. All the pieces are there to my knowledge, but the connections that held the handles are broken thru or corroded off. Great find at a Pottstown. PA farm sale. Overall dimensions are 7' long plate and 12' total length. Each hinge weighs about 2.5 lbs. I will ship in 2 separate packages. Great patina.
