This auction is for a set of hardware for a 1925 vintage Singer treadle sewing machine. This hardware fits the type of cabinet that had a flip-down center compartment instead of a drawer. The springed piece shown in the second and third pictures mounted to the head to make it easier to lift. The two sets of hinges were for the thin strip of wood that supported the head when it was raised and the long top once it was opened to access the head. The two round pieces fit into the back of the cabinet and the head to allow it to swivel up and the other two pieces(4th Pix. Lower left) are for the flip-down compartment.

Antique Trunk Hardware Lot of 79 Trunk/ Suitcase Latches.These latches measure roughly 1 1/2" high by 1 1/4" wide. The 32 latches on the bottom row have no spring. The 24 latches on the middle row have springs. The 23 pieces on the top row are the latch tops. I do not know if the tops fit the bottoms as these all came to me like this. There are slight marks to the lower right of the Inlaid star on the top. There are two holes with brass cylinders on the front(top) edge.not sure what they are for.no accessory hardware for them either. The star(top) is composed of 16 individual inlaid pieces in the veneer. The wood is unknow to us, if we(I) had to guess I would say walnut, with maple or ash pinstripping forming the boarders on the top and side edges. The bottom is cover in green felt(no picture) somewhat worn, but not ripped, just some rolled edges(comprised of three pieces of felt) one having the number 033 marked on it. This item came with an auctioneer tag from Gaston& Sheehan Auctioneers Inc. in Pflugerville, Tx. with alot number of 680 on the tag. We called them, but without more information, relative to the piece it was impossible to search just the lot number 680. The chair seat swivels and the chair rolls around on casters. 16" wide x 19" deep x 35-1/2" high overall with a 19" seat height as you see it in the pictures. Looking underneath I can see that you can lower it down about 1-1/2" and you have about 6" total screw extending down below the spinning disk. You should be able to raise it 2 or 3 inches anyway. Seat height would then range between about 17-1/2 and maybe 22" You merely turn the disk to change the seat height. I lowered the seat to the minimum for shipment. The seat back has a black material tacked into place on the sides. I think it looks like old leather. But I don't know for sure. Beautiful. I found a few issues which I think are not very noticable. There was a crack in the top of the upright back support timber that I had to glue(the crack extending below the slot was not glued) One nut securing that support was replaced with a more modern one at some point, there is a split in the wood surface on the back of the seat back, one tack is missing from the back support, and there is a

The circular whatzit is solid brass. Note that 4 oval back plates have a crown on them. They are 7 1/16" high X 2 5/8" wide. They are brass. The other two are plain; 7" high X 2 1/2" wide. For sale is a lock and hinges that came from an antique pump organ. The lock has a patent date of Sept. 3 1867. The 2 small hinges measure 1 1/2" and the 3 larger brass hinges measure 1 3/4" The large. Decorative hinges are silver plated brass and measure 1 3/4" The lock face measures 2 15/16" x 3/8" The other plate measures 2 3/8" x 3/8" Lock has the patent date stamped on it and original key.
