RARE MATCHING SET. ALMOST PERFECT! This gorgeous pair of antique windows are from around 1910, saved from an old German neighborhood of homes, nestled in the southern region of St. Louis city. Fine craftsmanship is displayed from the hardware and lead, to the exquisite glass selections that allow color to dance for you. Incredible warmth radiates from this particular set, which glows amber with pops of deep, rich, sunset orange. Nice Large Old Antique Barn Doors, 6 x 10 ft w/ Trolley Door Hardware & Rails
Here's an old or antique set of barn doors we received as salvage items from an old farmstead or farm house here in New Hampshire recently. The farm dates back to the early 1800's though these doors were probably installed in the late 1800's to early 1900's. One of our photos is of the barn doors while attached to the original barn prior to removal. The doors are each about 6 ft wide by 10 ft and 4 inches tall. They are in good condition with the boards having tongue and groove joints as we show in a picture. There are two types of trolley door hardware used on these. One side has fixed bracket with single trolley wheel type and the other side has double wheel type with swivels(that allow the door to be swung out at the bottom so someone can slip inside the barn easily without going to the trouble of moving the door on the ... moretrack) One of the doors has a front verticle edge board to overlap the second door when the doors are pulled together. These doors look nice but probably have not been painted in some years. So some may elect to repaint them. The lower horizontal trim boards on the fronts could use a little tightening up with some wood screws as they have grown a little loose while being moved around. I'd guess the doors weigh about 175 lbs give or take each and the pair were hauled here in the back of a pickup truck. There are some incidental pieces of hardware attached, a hasp and an eyehook, etc. With these doors and the trolley door hardware are the three pieces of trolley door metal railing that were in use. We show these in one of the pictures. There are 2- 8 ft sections and 1-6 foot section or 22 ft total. this is an exquisite antique lot of three 19th century solid brass door handles and back plates. they are very similar and pretty much matching with wonderful patina from age and made from thick heavy brass. they each hand a t style solid brass handle and also each have solid brass back plated with key holes and sliding key hold covers. the larger one measures 8 1/2 inches long by 2 1/4 inches wide and the handle sits 2 5/8 inches from the door. the smaller measures 8 inches long by 1 1/2 inches wide and the handle sits 2 inches from the door. very rare early lot. I would like to say that I am no expert on this gun stock. From my research it looks to be made in Germany and then later redone in Turkey. The wood has a soft light oily feel to it and both pieces match up but not tight. The pieces measure 20 5/8" and 24 3/4" and have a few light nicks, not bad though. Vintage antique 1949 Crane Drexel porcelain white sink orig hardware chrome legs
Many large detailed pictures below in listing* Excellent vintage Crane Drexel sink. Dated 1949. With both original side towel bars and chrome legs. All original hardware, faucet, handles, drain. Very nice example of an early Crane Drexel in white. Supercute period integrated faucet spout. All original hardware. Very cool sink for a mod or vintage decor. Crane made some of the coolest sinks of the era! Size is 18" deep. 22" wide(27" wide with towel bars) Legs approx 28.25 long, inset into body approximately 1" would make effective length 27.25" As with most original vintage sinks. There is always some degree of rebuilding. This does have all original hardware which is the hardest part to begin with, however. Replacement parts can be pricy but are all available at a site called deabath.com. I don't think you would ... moreneed anything for this sink except maybe gasket set(which are not pricy) I believe all that really needs to be done on this is finding a couple toggle attachments to attach legs to sink, a couple[toggle] wall brackets, and perhaps just new gaskets. The sink is untested and sold as-is Your plumber. Or a handy you can probably take the hardware apart and make sure everything is clean and sealed up well. Frankly, installing any sink is a minor hassle, so why not go for a super cool period one! Sink is in excellent condition without any stains. There is a single tiny microchip in bowl. There'a little leftover caulk on rear edge. There may be some really microscopic specks of oxidation on handles. I did not give the simple full polish which would likely return them to almost new condition. I also didn't completely clean up rear- it began to rain when I was taking pictures. Another fantastic retro find! Sold individually.4 available Huge 6" diameter post/column finials Pine.these are heavy& the wood is harder than most pine. It is likely Southern yellow pine I estimate these to be from 1970.so about 40 years old.they were finials atop a massive bed frame They all have some nicks. Dings, scuffs, and need the finish restored I love the ball tops& the detailed profile of the turnings& the sheer size of these posts These are rock solid& structurally sound The photos of all 4 Posts shows them on one side. And then I rolled them over so you could see the other side They all have 1' dowels firmly in place on the bottom. Except for one post which the dowel is missing(photos) You will never find anything huge like this in any Big Box store. I guarantee it! All the best.
