This is a lot of 4 vintage or antique drawer pulls. Recently purchased at an estate sale. I am unsure of their age. They are unmarked and appear to be quite old. I believe the back plates are constructed of tin or aluminum. They are very thin. The handles themselves, are heavy and I think they are brass. Intricately detailed, they measure about 5 1/4" across. They are in dire need of a polishing and there are a few dents. One of the pulls is missing it's handle. Still very pretty, they'll make a lovely addition to any project. Antique Hand-made Clock Shelf with drawer and Porcelain Pulls, Eastlake Style
I'm pleased to offer this hand-made clock shelf with Victorian Eastlake style. With sawtooth fringe under the front, corbel-style supports, and incised aesthetic decoration. It's equipped with a drawer having 2 porcelain pulls. I believe it is made from walnut. This is somewhat rustic. With awkward, delicate drawer rails and nails in the face of the drawer. It has remnants of very old paint and has obviously been refinished. However, it looks great and is just the right size for a black mantle clock. A gingerbread clock would also fit very well. The dimensions are shelf width of 20" and depth of 8.5" drawer width of 14" and height of 1.5" backplate height of 8.5" Condition is excellent or better. This is a great looking set of 25 antique Arts& Crafts or Art Deco cast geometric drawer pulls. There are 11 larger ones and 14 slightly smaller ones. They're hard to date exactly. But considering they straddle the Arts& Crafts and Art Deco eras, I'm going to date them the teens or 1920s. I believe they're made of solid brass or even bronze. They're very high quality. As they're cast and not just stamped. The 11 larger ones each measure 2 5/8 inches wide by 2 1/2 inches high(6.67 cm x 6.35 cm) The mounting holes from the middle of the screw to the middle of the screw are 2 inches apart(5.08 cm) The 14 smaller ones each measure 2 3/8 inches wide by 2 3/16 inches high(6.03 cm x 5.56 cm) The mounting holes from the middle of the screw to the middle of the screw are 1 3/4 inches apart(4.45 cm) The lines on these are ... morereally beautiful. These Back Plates are made by the GRB CO and are in used Condition and show signs of Aging and Use- some paint and rust.
