Antique- Gothic Medieval LION HEAD (2) Drawer Pulls & CLAW FEET (2)
This is a beautifully detailed. Antique set of 2 matching Lion head drawer pulls and 2 matching claw foot front corner feet. They are cast from a mold, made of heavy metal. There are some areas on the metal that shine with a yellowish color like bronze(See pictures. The items do not appear to have ever been painted and have crisp and clear details. Each pull is approximately 3 inches long. 2 1/4 inches wide with a screw that protrudes 1 1/4 inches beyond its back edge. Each claw foot is 2 3/4 inches along each side, and 3 1/4 inches across. The claw foot is 1 1/2 inches at its tallest, and lifts whatever it is connected to about 1/2 an inch higher. They are a substantial weight at 4.9 oz per lion head and 3.3 oz per claw foot. These items probably date back to the mid 1800's. We salvaged these pieces from a worn box found in the attic ... moreof a house built in 1900. 2 Fancy Primitive Antique Heavy Cast iron Drawer Pulls
2 Fancy Primitive Antique Heavy Cast iron Drawer Pulls I had an opportunity to go down state Illinois recently for the homecoming of my Alma Mater and shopped the wonderful sales. Barn sales and antique shops along the way. I have a huge variety of oldees for you this week- from 19th century primitives to 1950s kitsch- there’s something for everyone! Here's a pair of very old drawer handles for you. Made of cast iron. I don't know if they were architectural or for furniture, but you can see how lovely they would be with either. It's a matched set of very heavy cast iron handles/pulls. Each one weighs just under 1 lb and measures 4 4/5" wide by 3 1/2" tall. Each has a large mounting hole that is 3/8" diameter measuring on the inside, and they are 1 1/2" deep at the bottom of the handle- the pull. They are marked ... moreon the backside in relief in the iron, 87C1.7" or at least that's what it looks like! Both also have several old layers of paint- I see both black as well as what looks like a dark maroon color. They are shabby, and chippy, and down to the iron in some spots where you can see light surface rust. The rust is a little thicker at the backsides- see my photos, but there's no holes/eat throughs or sharp edges. They are both in totally solid and sturdy condition but one does have a crack that I'm showing from both front and back in my photos. The crack measures 1 1/4" and it's hard to see because it runs right along the base of one of the raised ridges of the handle. I want to stress that there's absolutely no movement on the handle at all caused by the crack. It didn't deter me from buying the set- they are just too old and gorgeous to pass up. Both are barn fresh dirty, and could use a good cleaning, but that's it. They are old and they are beautiful! Please ask if you have any questions. You are looking at a set of 8 antique? Federal style brass drawer pulls. These are in good vintage condition. I did not see any bends. They measure 3 5/8" wide and 2 5/8" The center of the threaded holes are 3" apart. There are 17 threaded bolts. I am missing one. These show their age for they have patina. And surface dirt, they were from a rotted old bureau in a barn. They are being sold as is and as found, so I will leave the cleaning up to the buyer.

ANTIQUE/VINTAGE 4 SOLID HEAVY BRASS CAST OVAL DRAWER PULLS with URN MOTIFS- MINT NEW OLD STOCK CONDITION! For your consideration. Here is a set of 4 ANTIQUE/VINTAGE SOLID HEAVY CAST BRASS OVAL DRAWER PULLS. These gorgeous and fancy Victorian pulls are probably from the turn of the century(maybe older. and still have the original stickers MADE IN ITALY on the back of 3 of them. They were stored in a Victorian trunk insert box, and may have been there for over 100 years. Each pull is approximately 2 3/4" wide x 2 3/8" tall(oval portion only) The attachments are the old style with soft brass treads that pass through a hole and spread on the backside. There is also a hole at the bottom center of each oval for a screw to stabalize the pull to the front of the drawer. And the actual oval pull is different on each side- one is smooth and ... morethe other side has a design- and they can be reversed to achieve the look you desire. This can be seen in the above photos. 1-4 show the smooth side, and#5-9 show the cast design side. Either look can be used, just reverse the spread thread in the hole. The condition is NOS and mint. The patina is gold, but not shiny- these have not seen light of modern oxygen for a long time as there is very little oxidation! 4 Antique White sewing machine drawer pulls very good condition. Came off of a cast iron based and tiger oak foot pedal manual sewing machine. There is no whites mark on pulls, but I think they are original whites. The model cabinet they came off of is a Vibrating shuttle lock stitch, Referred to as a mark III, 1890 to 1920s, they are solid brass back plates with nickle plating hard to see the nickle looks a little more brass, the rings are steel with brass coat. the screws are steel with brass coated heads. they have some light scratches, dings, and other minor defects from age, the color looks better and more even than pictures show. would be good for the restorer or a project. would also work on other furniture with the same screws.
