LG Kentucky Primitive style Solid Walnut Corner Cabinet Cupboard 4 Doors Antique
Normal 0 I had this lovely huge piece of furniture made for me when I was in Kentucky in 1984. I commissioned a retired woodworker who was about 70+ years old at the time and he lived near Clinton. KY.for the life of me, I can't remember his name but his work is some of the the best wood craftsmanship I have ever seen. I brought him a picture in Country Living magazine of a corner cabinet that I wanted and he made it to the exact specs. I was more than thrilled to see it when he finished. I moved to New Mexico in 1993 and this has been with me every since. I am downsizing and really have to have this beautiful cabinet sold as it is no longer a piece that I need. It is large and heavy and takes 2-3 men to move it. The doors. Drawer and top(dental work carving top) can be removed. The front and partial sides are made of solid walnut. Thick ... moregrade. It will hold a large TV.that is what I had it made for years ago when the TV's had a"bubble back" The far back sides which are out of view are made of Walnut thick grade plywood. This cabinet is still in remarkable condition even after being in the New Mexico dry weather all these years. The only things I should point out are minor but nonetheless I want to inform you. I drilled a hole(about 1 inch) in the far back middle and lower to accept the tv plug(you can see the holes in the pictures) and also at the rear of the top shelf there is a small hole drilled so that I could connect the tv to the VHS player. Also. The bottom side piece of walnut molding came off and I screwed it back in although there are no visible screw holes anywhere in this cabinet. The doors(lower and upper) have about a 1/4" gap of space between them. It may have been like this all along and you can probably decrease that space by adjusting the hinges. It's certainly nothing detracting but I just want you to know all that I see with the cabinet. THIS CABINET WILL NEVER BE LISTED AT A LOWER PRICE.

Penn Antique Restoration. 36"x 83" Pair Antique Interior French Doors W/ 10 Wavy Glass Lites. Rare. Beautiful. Antique, French, interior doors salvaged from an old home in Northeastern Ohio. Each door has a solid Douglas Fir core covered with 1/16" birch veneers and features 5 wavy glass lites. Although the 2 doors look like a pair when placed side-by-side. They need a bit of work before they could become a true pair. One door has a lip on the edge of its lock stile and the other doesn't. The hinge stile is wider than the lock stile on the door without the lip. The extra wide stile would make it pretty easy to cut into to create a groove for the lip of the other door to fit into, and make the doors a true pair. If you don't have someone who could do this, we could do it for you-email us for a quote. Hardware: These ... moredoors are not equipped with any hardware. However. Normal 0 false false false EN-US JA X-NONE This listing is for an Antique 1800’s Primitive wood sewing box cabinet shaped like a step back cupboard. It has a large drawer on the bottom and in the drawer are bonus items. A sppol of thread. Pearl buttons on a card, some ribbon and a small clutch style sewing kit. There are two doors that open to reveal a spinning spool holder and more storage. Included in this section are 9 spools of Clarks thread and 4 thimbles. 3 of the thimbles are metal and do not attract a magnet, possibly sterling silver or silverplate. The other is a porcelain Express Parcels advertising thimble made by Sanford of England. The doors have wallpaper trim. This piece measure 15 ½” in the back, 12 ½” not including the backsplash. It is 8 ½” wide and 7” deep. The backsplash is slightly loose although all of ... morethe nails seem to be present. There is a small piece missing from the molding in the middle section back left, and the bottom front right. I ship most of my items. Except for books, Priority Mail. Complete/original door guards for beautiful set of double doors(see last picture) Solid brass in fact everything is brass. Even the screws. Only thing that the magnet sticks to is the screw on the reverse that holds the handle in. Look at the pitina/age on the round handles, I know I've opened them up a few hundred times, and I only lived there 10 years,out of their 150+ years. These came from a old farm house in Bucks county Pa. I have the doors too, but to big to sell on ebay. I found a picture of a Chrismas a few years back that has the double doors, on the left door on the top&bottom you can see them.Beautiful doors with all those etched glass panels, can you believe after all those years every piece of glass is Original, not one replacement,or crack

Over the years the walnut has developed a lovely patina and has been naturally distressed for a charming rustic look. Simple brass hardware provides ... morea lovely compliment to the color of the bookcase. On the upper and lower cabinet doors the drop pulls act as door knobs. Turning to open the doors. Both of these sets of doors lock and one key is included. Behind the wavy glass antique doors are three shelves. The bottom two are stationary but the top shelf adjusts via a brass pin and hole system. The shelf depth inside the upper cabinet is 10.75″ As mentioned this piece was made by the company Waring& Gillows. A company known throughout England for creating quality, luxury furniture pieces. Being made around 1900 would have been just after the time that the two original companies(Gillows of Lancaster and Waring of Liverpool) joined. As you will see in the pictures the number 47843 has been stamped in the side of one drawer. Overall this antique English walnut bookcase is in good condition. As mentioned it has been naturally distressed over its life and sports dings. Dents, and stains all over. The close up pictures provided give you a good sampling of this. Here is a fabulous English mahogany tall bookcase with traditional broken arch pediment. Lovely glass doors with wood fretwork and step back design with it's sturdy accompanying stand or base with two drawers and a writing or work surface at 30 inches above the floor. This gorgeous early twentieth century piece stands 88 inches tall and measures 39 inches across at it's widest point and 21 inches deep, front to back. It travels in two pieces, with the top bookcase section measuring 58 inches tall by 39 inches wide and 11 inches deep. The base or stand with the two drawers is 30 inches tall by 39 inches wide and 21 inches front to back, so 9 inches protrudes forward of the bookcase when in place on top.
