We know these will take a bit of TLC to recover and ready for re-purpose and we honestly do not know what will mechanically be usable. The door knobs appear in good vintage condition with a few light surface scuffs/scratches(on the exposed pottery we can see) the one has a really unique swirl pattern. This is a lot of old mortise locks for your consideration. There are 2 difference sizes as shown in the photo. Nice lot for a locksmith or reseller of old hardware that is hard to find. Great for a vintage renovation. There are 8 in this lot. The 4 small ones are marked SAGER. The 4 bigger size ones would have used skeleton keys but I do not have any of the keys for these. Old antique vintage door hardware Mortise Lock skeleton Key L47 solid brass
Mortise lock has a face plate of 7/8' wide x 5 1/4' tall. 3 1/4' deep. The backset for the knob spindle is about 2 3/8' Comes with one tested and functional skeleton key. Face plate is solid brass and is 3/16' thick. There are 2 screws to remove it. The strike plate is also solid brass. I test the key multiple times on both sides of the lock to insure fit and function. The strike bolt can be reversed for doors that swing the other way. Auction is for the lock shown. The strike plate is included. This is a used working antique lock circa 1920s, not a newer made in China version. Here we have a pair of antique barn door rollers. They are very old and rusty. And are being sold as is. The bolts are stuck on to the screws and can't be removed due to the rust. Each piece has 2 wheels which have 2.75" diameters, and they can still move but not as well as if they were new. The hinges also can still move but not as smoothly as if they were new. One of the 2 still has a lot of the original white paint on the front, while the other one has chipped off a lot. The whole piece is 9" tall, 7.25" wide from wheel to wheel, and 4.5" wide on the main piece. This is a very cool antique which would be a great addition to any collection. It is a heavy cast iron spring activated hardware and brass floor plates. I just had the door so I am unsure if there were additional pieces on the floor or if this is all you need. I do believe this is all you need because the bottom of the bracket with the spring has a piece on the bottom with holes for a screws that I think are what mount it to the floor. These pieces do show surface wear. The shipping and handling are $5.95. Antique Old Used Pat Feb 1871 Metal Iron Porcelain Door Latch Hardware Decor
Antique. Old, used, 1871, metal, iron, porcelain, door latch, hardware. This item shows overall wear including scratches. Discoloration, wear to the decoration, and all of the original paint is missing; the latch still slides back and forth but is heavily rusted. The porcelain handle shows wear including staining, discoloration, and flea bite sized nicks found around the rim. The back of the latch is marked, Pat’d Feb 7, 1871” The latch measures approximately 1.25” x 2.5” x 1.625” including the handle. And when mounted together the horizontal screw holes are approximately 2.625” apart from each other. Please see pictures for more details. A matched pair of antique strap/wishbone hinges with pintles door hardware
Antique wrought iron strap/wishbone form hinges. The hinges are most likely 18th/early 19th century. The hinges are 11"12" long and are in great condition. The wishbone form is 2 1/2" wide. Normally when you have a combination strap wishbone- the wishbone side is very wide and will not work on a door with a simple door casing- You must have a door and a flush panelled wall- In this case-because the wishbone side is only 2 1/2" wide-a door mounted in a normal door jamb with a minimum 2 1/2" casing will work well- Ask questions if interested Watch for my other early iron items.
