I have a lot of antique keyhole and door knob cover plates for your consideration. There are 14 ornate hard to find plates and patterns in this lot. These are made of pressed steel and are of various designs and sizes. The two matching ornate pair in upper left corner in first pic are heavy pressed brass. Others are heavier pressed steel. Nice lot for that hard to find vintage repair or replacement. Nice mixed lot for the creative repurpose art mind as well. Condition of Jappaned finish on these plates range from fair to good.Specific questions regarding any pieces. Please inquire before bidding other wise what you see is what you get. I have a nice antique matching back plate with the matching knob. The knob and front of plate have been cleaned but the back of plate is still got rust and paint on it like it was orginally. It has a beaded edge around the outside of plate and around the knob. A very nice set for someone needing antique hardware. The plate measures about 7 inches tall and 2 1/4 inches wide at widest spot. This item is not a reproduction. It is a orginal. The reproductions will cost a lot more tan this set. These are large measuring 10 1/2 inches long x 2 3/4 inches across. Distance from center of door knob collar to center of skeleton key barrel is 3 1/4 inches. Finish is in fair condition with some scuffs and minor surface rust on the original plated surface. Ornate floral patterning on both ends. Here we have a set of 4 original cast brass door knob back plates from the Blackstone Hotel which was constructed in 1909 in Chicago. This set was heavily painted so we cleaned them using a wire brush which has resulted in a shiny backplate. These were made by Yale& Towne. Each of these have unique wear. So please reference the pictures and ask any questions you may have. Three of these have have little circles for a lock twist which I assume means they were room side back plates. One of them has a traditional skeleton key hole, which I assume was on the hall side of the door. These are 11 1/8" long and 3" wide at the widest point. Original rollers and 6ft of original track with track hangers(see pictures) The rollers and track are in perfect operable condition and will function/roll as expected once reassembled. Since this door is 3ft wide, then 6ft of track allows for the appropriate amount of door travel to open and close. These vintage doors have everything you need to hang and immediately begin enjoying. capturing a time long ago. The wood is in great condition and has only the patina and flaws expected ... morefrom a full functioning horse stable door. The door(s) have not been cleaned whatsoever. Therefore barn dust, dirt and cobwebs are seen in the pictures. Will gladly hose down for buyer if requested. The track and hardware show a great patina with only mild surface rust. Someone attempted to begin painting the front side of this door with a pale yellow paint(see pictures) but didn't get very far. The door otherwise has its original, unfinished pine board patina. Here up for auction is an unusual find indeed! Anyone who loves antique door hardware knows this is a sought after type door knob set. Perfectly round glass knobs with no chips- very slight surface scratch here or there but nothing really bad at all. The inside mercury star is perfect with no deterioration. These also have the nickel plated shanks which is unusual- generally you see these with the brass bases. Given that piece of information- these were most likely used for a powder room since the detail is nickel but maybe not. Gorgeous set of knobs. Get a nice deal on these! This is an Original Antique Dutch Style. Split Barn Door. It is in Good Condition. It is being sold with it's hardware. The hinges are still attached to that part of the door jam. It has Old Gray Weathered Wood on one side, and Beautiful Red Paint with Great Patina on the other. This is Original Paint. It has not been touched up. This Door is over 100 years old, and does have it's flaws. There is a board on the Gray side that has a crack on the edge of the board.
