Beautiful deco floral embossing on a large heavy pink 14" glass shade. Faceted crystal accents are off set with square slightly pink tinted crystal accents on the center stem. With a square glass ceiling mount which also has angular design elements with floral embossing. The design of this piece has unlimited design applications. This could accent a full deco décor with angular design. Art Nouveau décor design element possibilities. Or. It could also accent the décor that is stepping into the more modernistic style. It also reminds me of Hollywood or Flamingo. Un limited design potential. This simply put is a fantastic ... morepiece. Very rare shade design Piece measures from the flush edge of the ceiling mount to the tip of the finial 20" in hang length. This is a very heavy piece. It has many glass elements and all together weighs 9 lbs 2 ozs. The shade itself measures 14 1/2" across the square front width with a 19 3/4" diagonal width measurement. Huge. It has a cast pewter antique finial painted gold. The center stem with hanging loops measures 18" in length. Not counting finial] 9" of crystal and brass spacers on the center stem. The two main focal faceted crystals each measure 2 1/2" x 1 1/2" The square crystals have a slightly pink tint and measure 1 5/8" x 7/8" All metal components on the center mount stem are brass except the chain link, it looks to have had a plating on it. The glass ceiling mount itself measures 5 1/2" across the square front x 7 3/4" diagonal width across and stands 2 3/4" in height. There is a cross bar in side the mount for proper installation. This listing is for a ANTIQUE ART DECO 1930'S LINCOLN MFG CO 5 BULB SLIP SHADE CHANDELIER REWIRED. The fixture is made of aluminum and retains alot of its origional polychrome black and gold finish. Some of the shades have some damage. One has a crack on the outside next to seam. One has crack on outside on top and bottom that are only on outside and have not gone thru due to glass of 1/4 inch at that point. One shade has chip on top rim and side. One has a chip on the top inside. I tried to show pictures of damage on this hard to find light. New sockets and new cloth covered braided wire were added for safety. This fixture has been rewired and is ready to enhance your ceiling. The dimensions are about 23 inches from the ceiling to bottom of fixture. antique B & Hubbard brass ornate ceiling adjustable oil chandelier fixture lamp
This is an exquisite very large antique Bradley& Hubbard Victorian electrified oil lamp adjustable chandelier. marked B&H on the top adjustable mechanism. it is extremely detailed with an ornate intense victorian design. it has a wonderful font holder which holds the detailed brass font which holds a single generic size light bulb. it can be un-electrified if desired. Just needs a new font. the holder has a large diamond shape finial. the arms are truly superb with an extremely swirled design and has heavily embossed detailing throughout. the arms connect to the large brass shade mount which has nice cut out design and holds many thin dripping cut crystals. the shade is a white glass with a very detailed floral scene on both sides. the shade is also topped with a cut out brass trim. the whole bottom section is held by beautiful chains ... morewhich have nice brass decorative piece in the middle of the chain arms. they then connect to the smaller section which is an ornate brass ring also holding many cut crystal prisms. the chains then lead up to the very detailed brass canopy/ adjustment mechanism. when pulled on chains it adjusts the height of the chandelier. By extending the chain and then retracting it to shorten the height. the chandelier has its original hanging chain which also has nice detailing. it is all wired and ready to hang. the piece has a wonderful patina throughout and in good working shape. it measures 37 inches from very bottom to the top of the adjustment mechanism when the chain is at its shortest measurement. it measures 18 inches wide. I couldnt get the proper measurement when the chain is at its lowest measurement because it is wired but looks to have at least couple extra feet of chain. extremely rare high quality fixture. the fixture will be taken apart for a safe shipping. It has a white milk glass type shades decorated with blue. Red,green and tan floral hand painted décor. Has detailed floral scene is on both sides. There is a 12" clear and frosted hurricane shade under the large shade. The Light is wired with old cloth wiring. The lights support arms are a wrapped brass design. Measures 36" high and 14" wide. ANTIQUE FRENCH LOUIS XVI HUGE BRASS CUT-TO-CLEAR CHANDELIER / GASOLIER L@@K
This is a 19th century brass Gasolier. It's very large. It measures 44" high& 34" wide. The top canopy measures 10" across. The brass rim that the shade fits in measures 16" across. The frosted cut-to-clear shade measures 15 1/2" across and is 8" high. The hole in the brass top on the shade measures 2 3/4" across. This beautiful chandelier/ gasolier with the frosted cut-to-clear shade is from France and is heavy. It has a great patina on it. The wiring is old and should be replaced. I would think the light would work as is. But I haven't tried it. This originally used gas, but has been converted over to electric. All the gas valves are still present, and I'm sure could be converted back to gas. The shade does have a few small chips around the bottom rim. Which I believe is normal for these ... morekinds of lights. But it's nothing major. You can barely see them. You can mainly feel them when you run your hand around the rim. Also. I believe the chandelier is bent just a little bit, because when you put the glass shade in place one of the uprights next to it is closer than the other side. That makes me think it's bent just a little. I believe that shows in one of the pictures. I'm sure if someone takes the fixture apart, which I would think you would do to replace the wiring, it would be an easy fix. The canopy is very large on the top, and is beautiful. The two place candle pieces that hold the bulbs are broken, but can be replace easily. I will be shipping this in two different boxes to insure the shade doesn't get broken. I really have no idea what this gasolier is worth. But I do want to sell it. I'm putting a"buy it now" price on it, but if it's more than you think the chandelier is worth please be sure and make me an offer. Antique Victorian Brass Electric light fixture, ceiling chandelier, Deco, glass
This auction is for an ornate Victorian or Art Deco looking brass ceiling light. Chandelier style, made to hang on a chain. It was taken from my mother in laws house recently during a remodel, the house was built in 1916 and this is the original living room light. It has three lights, the holders for the bulbs are on ornate arms, and dangle, they are not fixed in place, and they were set up to turn on individually by turning the key on each light. The chain, and ornate key bit on the end are still present as well as a cone like piece, but I can't recall how they were all put together. but all the pieces are here. There are 3 heavy glass shades, lightly frosted on the insides and not chipped or damaged. The light fixture has some dust on the top, a few paint splashes from paint jobs over the years, and the wiring is the old original cloth ... morecovered style, so I would recommend rewiring! Containing the prisms of at least three different chandeliers. The pieces vary in condition and era, but they all appear to be leaded crystal, hand cut. The oldest crystals in the lot have black metal wire fasteners, with nail heads. Many of these particular crystals look old enough to be true antiques, 100 years old or more. These prisms, the spear points particularly, appear to have suffered a traumatic injury, i.e. we think the chandelier smashed to the floor. We culled the broken ones out of the lot, but there are still bits of broken spears attached to some connectors. These old ones have marks of age, nicks, ... morebroken points, which is to be expected considering their past history. On the other hand. The rest of the prisms are in very good condition(no trauma) They bear brass or other metal nail head fasteners, and coiled wire fasteners. All of these prisms put on quite a light show, aurora borealis-style, and filled the room with light and rainbow reflections. We have no marks. Great leaf design filigree and an awesome patina to the brass. There was no need to polish this one out; the original finish makes this one special. All brass pieces in great condition. Free of dings and dents. The fixture has been rewired and is ready to hang in your hall. Bedroom, or parlor! The 3 acid etched shades are in great condition with no chips. Up for Auction! Great! antique chandelier for restoration or left as shabby. Will need rewiring as original 2 wire cloth covered wiring was falling apart and has been partially removed and it is missing socket covers. 22" tall and 20" across. Constructed of brass fittings and wrought iron body. It has a 9" chain attached to a ceiling plate and a 2 3/4" finial attached to the chain and the top of the light. In between lights is some ornate iron work and on the back of the center circles there are tabs to hold something in place.possibly a center prism medallion. It is in pretty decent condition and doesn't look like it needs much work. Splendid Antique Ormolu & Chrystal Candle Chandelier c. 1870-90
This is quite an unusual piece and I haven't seen another like it. The chandelier frame is ormolu and quite delecate compaired to other chandiliers like it. It is quite light and nicely impressed with designs. It is soft white metal gilded with gold paint. It has old strings of crystal beads hanging from the arms. They appear to be original. Measures 2 inches wide x 3 1/4 inches high. German. 1870-1900. Excellent condition. RETURN POLICY: All of my listings are from my private collection. They are all old. Scarce and interesting. Stunning Art Deco Glass Globe Pan Light-Circa 1920- This was an original fixture in the townhouse attached to the old"Morrie's" Grocery store in Delaware. Ohio built around 1920. The chandelier has been completely cleaned. Repaired, and rewired, including vintage cloth wiring. It also has antique fat boy ceramic sockets that have been inspected renewed and fitted with new insulators. The top of the sockets have a patten date of July, 14th 1914. I always try to work with what a piece gives me. This one had great patina on the bobeches and the ornate arms for the hanging lights. The globe of course was the center piece. The globe is a light pink with etched filagree and three beautiful soft green Roman Venus's evenly spaced around the glass. I accented the pan body with five hand layered colors with the dominant color being ... moreantique sage green. This worked great with the exisiting patina and brought out the colors in the globe as well. I put enough color and finish on it to bring out the stunning detail but left much of the great patina as found. Includes original matching ceiling cap. The pictures tell the story. Professionally restored by experienced restoration artist. Buy with confidence. PS: I also have a medium size pan light that came from this same home.
