This is for an unusual round electrical outlet with a built in cover. It is made of brown bakelite. It does not have any cracks or breaks just a few surface scratches as shown in the photos. Description This switch is in good condition and about 2" in diameter. The porcelain is all intact and has not cracks. It is marked Weber on the bottom and is a dark brown color. Welcome to my listing. You are buying a Turn Switch bakelite twist knob nickel porcelain old antique light single pole Great old single pole 2-wire twist switch with a bakelite"ON/OFF" turn button. It was made in the USA by Perkins. It is patent dated on the bottom SEPT 17 1912. The black turn button has PERKINS name cast into it. I tested the switch with a continuity tester and it tests ok. It works by twisting. You stop when the contacts make contact to keep the circuit complete and twist again to turn it off. It is 2 1/2" in diameter and 2 1/8" deep. Rating stamped on the outside 10A 250v 5A 250V. und lab insp. Some of the nickel plating is worn on the front.
