And1/8 of an inch thick. The center opening has two flaps that I assume holds either the switch or wiring in place. The back in marked BRYANT ELEC. Co. PAT. JULY 25.1899 PAT. OCT. 9.1990 There are oblong circular marks in both ends of the back. I don't edit photos. Only to enlarge them, so I hope they're sufficient to determine the condition of this antique brass wall plate. I try to describe all items as accurately as possible.
