This cabinet has four doors with storage that have one shelf each. Two of these doors are hidden behind the columns on each side of the cabinet. This cabinet has three pull out drawers. One is a larger drawer with two smaller drawers on each side. This cabinet has a backsplash that attaches seperatly to the lower cabinet. Antique Cello Italian / German fecit Parmae
This antique cello. Having been found within a Tennessee estate, is being sold with varing information obtained from viewing by a few regional luthiers. It's definately of considerable age and restorations with opinions from early to later part of the 1800's to possible late 1700's. The restorations appear to show period to modern with the bridge indicating work by William Moennig& Son of Philadephia. It's currently in playable condition having suprising volume with sweet vintage woody tones for it's smaller and unusual size. The two piece back measures 23" in length with lower bout measuring 14" across and upper at 11" The string length from bridge to nut is 22" which places it in the neighborhood of a half size or slightly less best can tell being a little bigger than a normal size guitar. Overall, ... morethe restortation repairs have it pretty much in good stable condition with some very nice French polishing. There are a couple other external places that I thought might need attention such as a small pea size piece of trim on bottom edge that can be replaced if desired and two, what I call flat surface splinters that are starting to lift that might, at some point, need a spot of glue but was told these are of no concern and to leave alone. Also, at the middle of the back two piece seam near where the soundpost is located, you can see that about a 3 1/2" section of the seam here is loose and if you push with your thumb, will move. This has developed over time probably due to the soundpost pressure and the fact that there were never any reinforcing along the seam in this area where the soundpost is placed as there is above and below it. Inside, there is whats left of an original label which is so old it looks like its grown into the wood that reads Joannes Baptista Guadagnini fecit Parmae- csr 17 G B G. What a few believe that I talked with is that this cello was made in the style of Guadagnini to meet the market demand of its time. Some features point to being German m

An interesting violin. Around 200 years old, maybe older. typical yellow varnish and slant sound holes of italian school. Local luthier says the rib are build on external mold. Probably French origin. The length is around 358mm. The neck seems original without graft work; the height of finger board is raised by a wood piece underneath. it has stable repairs on top. This is a beautiful old Full size Maggini violin.Labeled as"Copy Of Giovan Paulo Maggini. Made In Germany" There is also wrinting in pencil above the label that states" Repaired by Lee& Annie 7-10-1996 I do not know the exact age but it is quite old. The violin exibits a nice burnt orange varnish over an amber ground with Chetsnut highlights.the top and bottom plates have wonderful arching.The top plate has several well repaired hairline cracks, which can be seen in the pictures.all are stable and nonmoving. the the double purfling is expertly laid in and the f-holes are well done.the back plate has no cracks or damage.it is a highly flamed 2 piece with lots of playing wear to the varnish.the sides,neck and pegbox are highly flamed as well.the violin has a great look and a nice patina that I believe is legit play wear. ... morethe neck is strong and graceful, the angl is very comfortable, making playing a breeze.The scroll is deep cut and pleasing to the eye.the pegbox appears to be grafted, there is an old repair where the scroll has broken at the d string peg hole, but it is very tight and stable. the ebony pegs are well fit and do not slip nor freeze.the fingerboard shows no signs of string grooves and is nicely scooped.the bridge looks to be newer and fits well.the string height has a slightly lower action for faster response and ease of play. the strings are older but still have some life left in them.If you are looking for wondeful old violin with the rich sound that only be earned with maturity, and you do not want the repair problems that some times comes with older violins, this one is for you.while she has had some repairs in her lifetime she is ready to be played right out of the case! It looks perfect. As can be seen in the pictures the wood condition is perfect, except(naturally) for some age marks. Excellent selection of wood and it was probably made by a master luthier. The design is that of italian masters. Label says Bernadus Calcannus Fecit Genoa Anno 1782Varnish is shiny and there are no scratches nor any other damages except for some age marks. No line cracks. This is a 4/4 size violin. Strings are new, bridge is new. Pegs are probably the original. This violin will be suitable for a collector of old violins or professional player. Apparently no repairs were ever made, nor necessary. A great violin! Beautiful brownish varnish similar ... moreto Italian tradition! As can be seen on the pictures the F holes are nicelly designed as is the neck with and the scroll. Very well selected wood, maple and gorgeous one piece Spruce back! Front wood veins are very tight. This a a RARE Green Italian Galanti from the 1960s in great shape. The Italian brand Galanti has its roots more than 100 years ago. The Galanti accordian factory was cranking out accordians into the late 1950′s. Then for a few shorts year included a shift to electric guitars. In the 1970′s they moved into making electric organs. What makes these guitars special? The necks, mostly. If you like think, very fast-playing necks, vintage Italian guitars may be your thing. This model has the normal zippy neck, plus some other very cool features—not the least of which are the(typical to Italian guitars made by factories more accustomed to cranking out accordions) push buttons for the pickup selectors. 2 Pickups, WaWa Bar, Hard Case. Antique violin. Full size 35.4 cms length of back. I'm selling it on behalf of its owner and that is why it is set up with its original gut strings. It is in good state of preservation for its age. Has no cracks just varnish worn out in some areas. What it can been seen on the back is not a crack but a clear line on the varnish) It has a very nice deep red brown varnish. Fully blocked and lined. The head is very nice and the neck is original. I think it is a fine violin in every aspect. It is not labeled so I can not tell its age. Sold as is. Antique Italian CARLOTTI Bowl Back MANDOLIN ~ 1886
An antique bowl back eight string(2 missing) mandolin possibly from Italy bearing the name CARLOTTI as shown. The mandolin measures approximately 23 1/2"L x 7"W x 5 3/4" Deep. The mandolin features beautiful inlay with ivory or bone around the sound hole and outer edges. A tortoise shell pick guard and mother-of-pearl inlay position marks on the fingerboard. T he rounded back has 15 small ribs flanked by two larger ribs joining the back to the body. The tuning pegs are celluloid or possibly ivory. The head stock has finely engraved metal ornamentation on the rear side as shown. The tail piece is marked: Pat. Oct. 26- 86(1886) The mandolin is being sold as is. I am not an expert. But I will try to answer questions and describe the condition the best that I can. CONDITION: There is with a small crack in the finger board. One ... moreof the thin strips of metal on the finger board also appears to be missing. The piece of ivory or bone at the top of the finger board also appears to be slightly chipped at one end. The metal tail piece is missing a screw. There are minor scuffs and scrapes to the wood finish and an old piece of tape with remnants of the adhesive on the back of the mandolin as shown. This is a lovely old 4/4 violin. The label inside reads: GIUSEPPE B. LECCHI Fece in Genova Anno 1953(last two numbers are in writting) This is a full sized violin. It measures: 588 x 355 x 161 x 106 x 188 mm. There are no visable past REPAIRS. Or Present Issues with this violin. I looked to check things inside. And all is fine: All the linings are in place; all corner blocks are there; the bass bar is firmly attached and the sound post is in place. There are some minor dings. Scratches, and scuffin all over, and some varnish ware and unevenness. THIS VIOLIN IS CLEARLY SHOWN IN DETAIL ON THE PICTURES- NO SURPRISES. Violin is setup. And it is in playing condition. Antique Vintage Old Fine Italian Labeled Violin Gnosef Guadagnini
Gorgeous Italian Labeled Violin Gnosef Guadagnini Cremonenfis Fecit Parmae Anno 1791 This is an exceptionally gorgeous antique violin with lots of Italian characteristics. The varnish is exceptionally gorgeous with lots of reds and golds accentuating the incredible quilted one piece back. There are two pegs at the purfling on the back near the ebony crown and the bottom. The quilting in the back is beautiful and some of the highest flaming I've seen. The top is made of fine straight grained spruce with varnish that matches the back. The ribs are made of highly flamed maple and the neck and scroll are of medium to low flamed maple. The set up is with boxwood fittings with ebony trim and the bridge has been cut to a professional violinist's standards. It does include a chin rest. However I forgot to add it for pictures- I'll be ... moresure to add photos of it soon. The sound is stunning and powerful. This violin feels a room full of warm and sweet tones and ambient harmonics. It is highly concise and resonates seconds after the last bowing. The E is decadent. Great for passages for violin concerti, string orchestra, and chamber ensemble repertoire that use extensive harmonics and higher registers- it also has a great range in timbre and character for several different extended techniques that a classical violinist would love. The ponticello is sweet, resonant and highly metallic and ambient; the tasto is warm and legato. The violin comes with Free Shipping if bought using the Buy it Now feature.
