Here is a very unusual and handsome circa 1880 French solid walnut two piece cabinet. There are many architectural carved details such as the paneled doors. The gallery, the drawers as well as at the top. Mixed in with the design are lovely turned and fluted and some carved columns. The drawers are hand dovetailed with original hardware and the top of the base has the original rose marble. I have plenty of other pics if needed. Height to top = 89" Height to top of marble = 39 1/2" Width at widest(at base) = 52" Depth at deepest(at base) = 19 1/2" This French cabinet is in excellent condition and is ready for use in your home! Solid/Veneer Mahogany Huntboard/Sideboard, Custom Made, Very Good to Excellent
Here is a custom-made(bench-made) mahogany huntboard/sideboard in a rich. Dark mahogany finish. The piece is very well made, with a panel on each end and lovely trifid feet on the front. The piece is 66" long, 21" deep, and 33" high. It has been well cared for, but a small chip in the veneer at the left front corner has been repaired; a real woodworker could make it virtually invisible. In the center on the right side, there is a tiny chip in the veneer. The finish on this piece is very fine-not furniture-store or piano-top slick, but handrubbed to show the grain of the wood. Please note the fine banding on the drawer fronts. I hate to part with this piece. But it's too large for my space. I'm not equipped to ship it, but TSC Movers(tscmoving.com) will give a fair price for shipping. Listing the piece(for free) on uShip ... moremay bring a real bargain for delivery; there are many private shippers who will economically blanket-wrap furniture and deliver it to your door. Offered for sale is an antique sideboard. Original grain painting which was created to look like flame mahogany or rosewood. There is gold leaf accents on the piece. A Victorian 19th century bamboo rattan server or washstand featuring a marble top and four old deep blue glazed tiles. The rattan has the original mottled finish. And the front legs have an interesting splay. There is a woven rush covered door with a working latch enclosing a two compartment interior. 1880 French Renaissance Louis XV Carved Qtr-Oak Sideboard Buffet.Huntboard 6595
1880 French Renaissance Louis XV. Profusely Carved Quarter-Oak Sideboard/Buffet. It has a very decorative pierced gallery with finials on each end. The top center has a heavily carved crown. The Sideboard/Buffet is made in three main sections. The base with two drawers and two doors with one interior. Removable shelf measures: 55" wide x 21 1/2" deep x 39" tall. The next section supports the top section with two columns and provides a decorative pierced plate rail. It measures: 16" tall x 12" deep. The plate rail is 4" deep with a 2" opening for plates. The third(top section) measures: 51" wide x 41" tall x 13 1/2" deep it is 103 inches tall overall. It has 3 profusely carved doors. The center door appears to have been carved from one piece of wood and represents a man on a horse with a trumpet ... morechasing a deer. The two side doors have applied carving that represents scrolls and flowers. The top section has two adjustable shelves. There are two columns on the front of the base and 8 columns on the front of the top section. There are two keys for the two top side doors. There is no lock in the center door. The crown is 6" tall.
