Antique Brass Switch/Buzzer Plate-Solid Brass
Offered for sale is an antique brass buzzer/switch plate. Embossed on the back is: Hart Rotary Switch. Made By Hart& Hegeman Company. The dimensions are: 2-3/4" x 4-1/2" Hopefully you can see from the pictures that has a dimple in the center where the switch is mounted. These I believe were used primarily as push button covers like for a front door buzzer. However because it says it is a"rotary switch" leads me to believe that there was an application that used a rotary switch back in the day. Anyway, hopefully someone out there can make use of it.
