The material ... moreis solid, not plated, and definitely not steel. Manufacture is pre-1985 for sure. I included a couple of pennies for color comparison. The top penny is bright and the bottom penny is more tarnished. The screws are more yellow than the pennies but more red than typical brass I've seen(maybe because of the patina? The screws have a pleasant, even patina, but will polish brighter if cleaned. Measurements appear to be#8. Refer to the drawing photo for the dimensions: Head Diameter A = 0.310" +/ 005 Basic Diameter D = 0.161" Length L = 1.50" 15 Threads per inch These are old government surplus, NSN 5305-01-015-0653. Probably manufactured between 1976& 1985. I couldn't find any additional information on these. The part is obsolete. Larger quantities are available if there is any interest. VINTAGE 19TH CENTURY SLOT HEAD TUNERS This is a set of late 19th century strip tuners in brass with intricate floral filigree and solid bone buttons. Reverse gear orientation with brass worm gears. Crown gears, and hollow barrels. The bone buttons are in excellent shape. All tuners turn freely with no problems. Just a hint of a bend in two stems with no impact on function. 14:1 turning ratio. 1/4" diameter barrels. Post spacing is 1 5/16" center to center. Planks are 4 1/16" long. Vintage Brass letter slot Front Door Mail Hardware
I am selling a used vintage brass mail slot. Years ago it was very common to have your mail delivered door to door by the postman who would simply slip the envelopes through the slot and the mail would drop safely inside the house. This mail slot shows wear but does function well when I push on the door to open the slot. I washed it off but did not try to shine it up. There are some areas of oxidation near one of the screw holes that needs to be cleaned off. The spring mechanism has some rust on the surface that I tried to show you with some pictures. The slot is approximately 7 1/2 by 2 1/4 inches. I do not know if this slot had a back plate for inside the house. It does not come with one. I will try to answer any questions that you may have. It has a screw back and has a nice unpolished patina on the brass. Up for sale is a wonderfully rare and in great condition Bullseye 5-A model. This putter is about 35" long and has a brass somewhat of a mini mallet head. With a sloped back and a slot cut in the head similar to some Ping and other models. This is a very unusual Putter for a Bulls eye brand. When striking a ball with t he medium weight head. There is a noticeable difference in tone from the slot being cut in the head. The brass head has some very minimal wear. Good patina. Few abrasions and only minor nicks. The putter sole states. Acushnet Bulls Eye around the logo. It also notes 5-A and Heel Shafted Flange.
