Five antique horse and/or mule bits. Four are snaffle bits. One is the"jaw breaker" driving bit. All are primative looking, all are rusty, all are complete and unbroken. Top bit in the picture is definately a draft horse bit, 7 1/4 inches long straight bit with 3 1/2 inch rings. The next is 6 1/2 inch long straight bit with 3 1/2 inch rings. We believe these bits to be quite old and the metal looks to be quite old; we cannot find any markings on these bits. We believe there is one set of spurs found, one solo spur, and three other bits which we are unsure of their purpose; the other bits may possibly be footholds. These items show overall wear including rust found. Some paint marks found, some bends found in the metal, and one of the spurs is broken in half.
