A really unusual piece of handcrafted Artisan jewelry for that person seriously interested in owning a bit of antiquity. This necklace was cut from broken pieces of ancient Roman glass and comes to us from Italy. It's colors range from soft blues to greens with each piece of glass unique. Each bead is separated from the other by light pink beads. Seed bead size, and there is a large piece of Roman glass cut for a pendant at the center which measures 1 1/2 inches in length and approximately 1 inch wide at its widest point. The beads are strung one to another by a series of light blue threads. There is no catch on the string of beads, only a tie in a bow of the strings. I suppose that the beads could be restrung should you prefer and a jewelry catch added either to the existing strings or to your own threading.
