Victoria on this map is identified as'Australia Felix' the early name given to the lush green pastures of western Victoria) This map was issued in the same year as Victoria became an independent colony separate from New South Wales in July, 1851. This year also marked the beginning of the Australian gold rush, which would attract a large number of international immigrants, tripling its population within the next 20 years. Clough & Warren Antique Pedal Draw Bar Pump Parlor Organ all original with Ivory
This is an Antique Pedal Pump Organ also known as a Parlor Organ from the late 1800s made by the Clough& Warren Company in Detroit. Michigan. It's a functioning musical instrument as well as an Antique and conversation piece. It requires manual pumping of the pedals to fill the bellows with air, which powers the sound. The draw bars are mostly in good working order to provide multiple different sounds and tones, as well as the octave coupler and Sub Bass which when activated gives it an incredible sound! There are obvious scuff. Warren had a remarkable talent for commercial fly dressing and was the fastest dresser I had ever seen and in my opinion was also the finest hairwing Atlantic salmon fly dresser that ever lived. In 40 years, I have yet to meet his equal. His flies are perfect examples of neatness and order and I have never heard of any of his flies unraveling or falling apart. Duncan died in 2007 but as long as there are samples of his work to inspire future generations, he will never be forgotten. DUNC'S JESSE WOOD STREAMER" was created& tied by Warren Duncan on a#1/0(1¾" long) hook. Up for auction is a old antique E.T. Young 2 pc curly maple back full size violin for setup. The nicely figured 2 pc curly maple back measures 14 1/16 by 8 inches. The violin is lined and has 4 corner blocks. There are no bassbar or soundpost cracks on the violin. The scroll and pegbox are in good shape and the neck is solid. The fingerboard and pegs are ebony. DR. WARREN'S EXPECTORANT NASHUA, N H .- Blown at the Lyndeborough Glass Co.
A wonderful land scarce bottle that was blown from aqua blue glass at the Lyndeborough Glass Company of New Hampshire. It stands 5 13/16" tall. And is 1 7/8" long, and 1 5/16" wide. The lip is formed by a fat, rounded, band with a narrow, sloping, collar underneath it. The lip is rather crude and the neck has some great twist marks. The base is flat but slightly depressed with a circular mark in the middle. The body has four, indented panels of a rectangular shape. Three of these are embossed and one of the wider ones is blank, probably for a label. The other wide one reads in two, vertical lines; D R WARREN'S EXPECTORANT. The two. Narrow panels read; WHITE& HILL and NASHUA, N H. respectively. The corners are more rounded than beveled and the shoulder area is almost flat. Very Rare Manchester Sterling Silver Petite Cream Ladel with Flared Shell Bowl ~ Discontinued"Mary Warren" Pattern ~ This beautiful sterling silver petite cream ladel is in the“Mary Warren” pattern by the Manchester Silver Company of Providence Rhode Island. In good ESTATE condition. The ladel measures approximately 5 1/4" in length and the shell bowl measures approximately 2" in width. This piece has never been monogrammed and has nice, crisp details. This bowl of this ladle is in a very rare form-that of a flared shell. Almost a"fleur de lis" shape. The more common shell pattern is not flared outward as this one is, but rather resembles more of a clam shell. Discontinued in 1910, this pattern is often hard to find, but this particular piece of the set is an exceptionally rare find!
