Antique Primitive Wooden hand carved Folk Art Boat(From Great Grandfather's Barn) This Unique unfinished boat is both charming and crude. Measures 9 1/2" x 2" and has some nail heads and bottoms sticking out in places. probably from dried and shrinking wood) I believe I once heard there was originally a hand crafted paddle wheel on the back. This wonderful little piece of folk art is being sold as described with no returns so please be sure to ask questions.

Measuring 6" by 2.75" seems to be stamp of fruit and flowers. These are clearly handmade and used with love and de dication. And the wood is a lovely deep dark tone. I am not sure what type of wood they are made from, but they seem most likely black walnut. Antique Bentwood Primitive Wood & Metal Sifter Sieve Strainer
For your bidding consideration: A great Original Antique Bentwood and Metal Primitive Sifter Strainer Sieve. This sifter is in wonderful antique condition. It is complete with no broken off pieces in the wood structure and even the wire sifter is untorn and fully attached to the frame. This would be a wonderful addition to your Country Primitive Home. Hanging on the wall, inside or out or propped on your fireplace mantlel! The large bentwood band surrounding the frame is secured by huge staple-like pieces of metal and metal tacks. I am not sure what purpose this sifter was used for. But may have been used for sifting grains or ore. There is a stamped or wood burned identifying mark on one side of the frame which I believe says ANN.DEP'T, but have no idea what this refers to. This is a large sifter at 17" across on the frame and 4" ... morehigh. Please examine the photos for the appearance and condition of this piece before bidding. Up for bid: This sturdy Staved Wooden Barrel Bucket. The wood staves are held in place by bright brass bands. And secured by brass tacks. This Barrel Bucket Pail or Planter is quite handsome, with its brass bands adding a decorative touch as well as keeping it held strongly together with large brass tacks. Made and signed on the bottom of the bucket by the historical Spaulding& Frost Barrel Cooperage in Fremont. NH. The Cooperage was founded in 1874 by Jonas Spaulding, Jr. After Jonas died in 1900, his sons, two of whom became New Hampshire governors, served as company officers. The Cooperage was rebuilt after fires in 1921 and 1973 destroyed the structure. The Spaulding and Frost Cooperage is now the oldest cooperage in the US, and well known for the quality of its barrel products. What I'm offering for sale is an antique wall plaque of Pyrography. Or sometimes called Flemish Art. It's the art of woodburning. This plaque was made by Jas. H. Pierce in 1909. The front is a picture of a framed horse, very artfully done. The back is also very interesting. The back is the artist's sketches of his three daughters, their names and places of residence; almost like a woodburning doodle. It's dated and signed Jan. 7th, 1909. The condition is amazing for 104 years old. The wood has darkened with its age and there's a small scratch on the front right side. The wood plaque is 7" x 9" with two hooks(which go through to the front) and string for hanging on the back. The stand shown in the pictures is not included in this sale. They are very ornate and the gold is just the perfect gold color and they are quite large and make a huge statement. They are really different and quite lovely. There is cracking to the wood in areas, but none of it looks broken to me. I tried to take as many photos as possible to show you every detail but if you want more photos of the cracking just let me know. Also the very tip of the bottom might have minor knicks out of it, you cant tall from the front but you can see from the back in photo number 7. Rare 17th C. Carving of Blackamoor Slave Heads in Yokes - Oak Carved Panel
A very rare 17th century oak carved panel of Blackamoor slave heads in yokes. A poignant piece of history. Which, due to its age- can lead to the identification of the carving's subject as that of the 1600's slave trade. The piece shows four Blackamoor slave heads in yokes. Their faces appear disturbed and suffering. As you look at the carving two heads are the right way up. The other two are upside down. There is a symbolic interconnecting of the yokes. Possibly a reference to the lines in which black people were made walk in their yokes. To the centre is a symbolic carved flower head. The carving is very deep and high quality. With excellent detail. Carvings of this subject are extremely rare and therefore this piece would be an extremely desirable acquisition to any historical collection concerning the slave trade. Antique Wooden bucket w/wooden swing handle and cloth-covered wooden lid. Exterior of bucket shows scratches and discoloration of the 2 metal bands. This discoloration may appear to be rust. But there is no difference to the smoothness of the band between the 2 colors. I don't believe it is rust) The bucket stands nearly 10 inches tall without the lid and 11 inches tall with the lid. It is 16 inches tall with the handle up. It is 12 1/2 inches across at the top and 10 1/2 inches across at the base. The wood is a strong, heavy type as the bucket weighs 5 1/2 pounds with the lid. There is 3 small tears in the fabric covering the lid, but the fabric as a whole seems to be quite sturdy. My guess is that this bucket was used to store goods, such as sugar or ice, or perhaps used to transport goods.
