This typewriter has all of the original green and green wood-toned finish with no rust. There is some wear as would be expected along the front. On the top, and along the back where the pegs for the top have scratched the paint. I can find no dates on this typewriter. This I believe is very clean for its age but I'm sure it needs a good cleaning as some of the keys are slow to go back into place and the"D" key sticks up about 3/8" as shown. As shown in the photos there is one tape cover missing, but other than that, all keys work, all key covers are intact and clear. The warranty ... morepaper is still in the top of the box. However, I can see no date written in the space provided. The wooden case is in good condition but missing the handle and also the small rubber feet that were on the base. The center drawer has a beautiful ornate carved design and the bottom front and legs has a gorgous design. There are four removable rollers. This piece could be reconfigured to use a bath vanity. Circa: Mid 20th c Provenance: Kansas Dimensions: Overall Length 38" Weight: 12 oz Just in time for Father's Day comes this high quality right handed#4 iron made by the Kenneth Smith Golf Company(Smith died in 1977 and his company closed in 2003) The condition is extrordinary for it's age. This club has a blue"Chevron" grip. Metal wood grained shaft, and forged stainless steel head. Just under the grip, impressed on the shaft, it says"Kenneth Smith True Temper Pat'd Shaft" Between the grip and the impressed writing, there is a score mark that you can feel with a thumbnail and goes completely around the shaft accompanied with some minor ... morepaint flaking. I cannot explain this score mark but I have examined it with a magnifying glass and a blacklight; the grain aligns perfectly and there is no indication that this is a crack or repair. The shaft remains solid, strong, and straight with no signs of damge that would comprimise it's use. Other then the aforementioned condition. The rest of the shaft is free from any noticeable nicks or scratches. The head has quite a few things impressed into it. The forged stainless steel neck says,O-Twist Cushion" The head has"4 REG 21951 SFB" Handmade Kenneth Smith(Arrow)Winall" Stainless" and"4(Arrow) Pat's Pend" The head has a chevron impressed ball surface and shallow scratches that are a result from age with normal use. Slight frame separation upper left and scratch marks on the back. Clock has a domed glass front face cover and the clock works was made by the Pam Clock Company, New Rochelle, New York. Dimensions are 15.25 x 15.25 x 2.5(trim is 5/16) The face of the clock has the Hedges& Butler crest at the 12 o'clock position. Listing 3, 6, 9; all the others are showing as dots. This typewriter is in pretty decent shape. Someone at one point for some odd reason painted the case gold. In doing so the got some paint on some of the typewriter as well. We think the gold paint can be removed from the typewriter without damaging the wood grain but we can not guarantee it. The keys all depress well. Petite Beautifully Grained Wood Chinese Snuff Bottle
This simple and rustic wood Chinese snuff bottle was acquired at auction. The beautiful grain of the wood and simplicity of its design makes it elegant. In photo 6 a cross grain forms in an area of knot. It is the darker color at the base. I do not know what kind of wood it is. This snuff bottle measures approximately 2 5/8" with the top in place and about 2 2/8" without it. It has a base diameter of about 1/2" and a larger diameter mid-torso of roughly 1 1/8" It is in excellent used condition. Check out my other items! Item Description From Brayton's Laguna Beach Pottery. A handsome pitcher in a faux wood grain. The glaze is grey resembling weathered wood. It stands approx. 3 3/8" tall, 6 1/4" long from the tip of the spout to the tip of the handle and the bowl of the pitcher is approx. 4 5/8" wide. There is staining and crazing on the inside of the bowl. I found a flea bite on the tip of the spout, another on the edge of the handle and two on the rim. Please see the pictures. Rarely found early original Edison no. 10 wood grained Cygnet horn bell section for external horn Edison cylinder phonographs. Most of the original wood grain paint has flaked off but the original decals remain intact. This is a good original Edison Cygnet horn bell with no dents that only needs repainting or use it as it is with your Cygnet horn elbow. All of the original connections appear to be present and are in good functioning condition. Some surface oxidation is present that affects nothing. This is a very hard to find Edison cygnet phonograph horn bell. Replacement cygnet horn elbows are easily and readily available to complete this horn. See pictures for details.
