For sale is vintage Pass& Seymour six opening despard plate. For two gang setup, new old stock, in the original glassine waxed paper wrapper. These were from estate of my grandfather. Who owned a hardware store in the 1950's. I have several auctions up so please check them, I have cases of parts like this to sell. I have several of these in the factory case. NOTE: for the listed price. You are buying ONE plate, that comes with two cam straps and original screws. There is some rust on some screws. They are new old stock; 4 are still in their original cellophane wrappers. The cellophane wrappers are very fragile and cracked. Two of the packages have their original screws. The other three are without. One has no cellophane as seen in the photos. They were made by General Electric and have the logo on the reverse and the symbol for the Underwriters Laboratory. And another mark that looks like"CSA" They each have a single. Round opening. The plates are smooth without any ribs or engraving, just a slight rounding at the edges. Vtg Ivory Bakelite deco ribbed single large hole Switch outlet plate cover #7201
If what you need is pristine. This is not. But if you need a match for a really old plate cover this may be just what you're looking for. This single outlet plate cover is clean and serviceable but has a small scuff on the front, a smudge of paint on the back and two hairline cracks, one of which is visible only on the back and one which shows on both sides. See detail photos. I believe this plate cover to be at least 55 years old(last complete rewiring of my 110-year-old family home) and possibly older because it has a more retro deco styling than other ribbed face plates installed in here in the late 1950s. 4 1/2" long, 2 3/4" wide.
