Vtg Antique Art Deco Round Bakelite Electrical Outlet Plate Switch Cover Brown
This is for an unusual round electrical outlet with a built in cover. It is made of brown bakelite. It does not have any cracks or breaks just a few surface scratches as shown in the photos. It was made in the USA and is rated at 125V. All four original screws are still attached. They all four turn easily.

They have both fine ribbing and thicker ribs across the center area which is raised a bit. It is probably Bakelite. But I didn't test it. Each Measures approx. 4-1/2” high x 6-3/8” wide Screws not included. I've cleaned this up and it has no paint. No cracks, but there are some light scratches.

For sale is a vintage Carling new old stock switch plate cover. For two toggle switches, in the original paper wrapper, with screws. Color is what I consider ivory, but I included a pic of the plate adjacent to a white sheet of paper to verify, so please check the photos. The covers are really pretty, as the rough texture of the covers almost sparkles like rough granite finish. Unusual covers and the only ones I've seen with this finish, out of the hundreds I'm cataloging and selling. These were from estate of my grandfather. Who owned a hardware store in the 1950's. Inventory# 234 These creamy white plates were made in the mid 20th century and are quite hard to find. They have ribbing across the central area wide line and fine lines. With solid bands on each side, give it a handsome detail. Each Measures approx. 4-1/2” high x 4-1/2” wide Screws are not included. Made of Bakelite. With line work and Art Deco accents on the perimeter these hard-to-find creamy ivory plates go well with Art Deco and many other decors. Nicely grooved background with the Art Deco bands. Be sure and enlarge the photo to see all the detail! These items may have need to be cleaned& may have some paint from previous owner.
