VINTAGE ARTHUR GODFREY BAKELITE DELAYED ELECTRICAL LIGHT SWITCH HOLLYWOOD Description: Quite an unusal vintage electrical item. This is a delayed timer wall light switch endorsed by Arthur Godfrey. When you turn the switch off. There is a several minute delay before it switches your light off. According to the advertisment, this would give the user time to get into bed or move out of the room before the lights went of. An interesting concept I must say, too bad it never really caught on making this a pretty rare item. The unit does click several minutes after flipping the switch so I am guessing it still works. I cannot say how reliable these were or are since the item is so old. The packaging is great with Arthurs face printed on it along with the sales pitch! Item packaging is good with no major damage. 5 vintage porcelain electrical fixtures switch bulb Bryant Leviton
Nice vintage lot of old porcelain electrical supplies. First there are 2 bulb sockets. The larger one has a screw out porcelain adapter and a side chain pull mechanism. It was made by Levititon and is 250w/v. The other says made in USA 250v. There are also 2 bulb sockets made by Bryant. USA. Finally there is a switch with no makers name. The metal part has rusting. The switch looks like bakelite but Im not sure. I am also unsure if the bulbs or any of this works so I am selling as is. However, I will answer any questions you may have at any time. Up for auction are 3 surface mounted electrical outlet plugs. These could possibly be Bakelite. The measurements are approximately 1 7/8" wide X 5" long. The wall mounting holes are approximately 3 3/16" apart& visible only on the back side. I see no broken places anywhere on these except around the wiring holes as described below& shown in the pictures. These outlets were all in working order when removed from service but due to age& being stored. They are being sold'As Is' One outlet has a lot of paint on it as shown in the pictures.
