Antique Victorian Floral Print & Tint Tile - Red / Pink & Yellow Roses
Up for auction is a pretty Victorian Print& Tint floral tile maker unknown. This tile has a large central printed design depicting roses in a circle they have been hand finished in red/ pink& yellow and the leaves in green. The print is in a brown colour and there are nice quarter circles. Highlighted in yellow, decorating the 4 corners with abstract patterns. The surface of the tile has a nice glossy finish. This listing is for an Antique Victorian Wicker Sewing Basket Hand Painted Yellow Roses& Green Leaves on a fleshy pink ground. The interior of the lid has a partially padded floral fabric stitched to it with the sperratic stitches visible on exterior. The fabric is aged and could use un-mounting and cleaning. The basket itself is in very good to excellent condition and just has patina and dirt accumulations from passage of time. I swabbed some of the dirt but I guess the correct thing would be to unmount the inner lid fabric and do a fast soap and water rinse. 10 1/8 inchs widest diameter. 4 inches in height. I usually post many more images on my listing than the 12 listed on eBay gallery which only will be visible to individuals on classic eBay site. This antique blanket is gorgeous! It is 53" x 58" and weighs a whopping 7 pounds! It has wonderfully vibrant colors. Huge roses& the cutest St. Bernard or spaniel in the center. The dog used to have glass eyes and you can see the 2 small holes in the back of the blanket where they rubbed the wool. There is still one metal grommet attached inside the blanket. There are a few very small holes, and some minor wear to one edge& corner, but this is over 100 years old and I think it is in fabulous condition for its age! 38" L Victorian Antique CARVED ROSES Faux Ivory Ox Bone Graduated Bead Necklace Here is an approx 38" long ANTIQUE or Vintage"FAUX IVORY" OX BONE-NECKLACE with graduated CARVED ROSE or some type of FLOWER BEADS& BEAD CLASP. I'm not sure of age. However I saw a nearly identical necklace sold that was from Victorian era. There are different shades of ivory to darker ivory on beads, a very nice patina. Read on for size& 3 minor flaws. The largest carved center bead is approx 1" long by a little over.50" wide see pic 2. There are 10 graduated carved beads on each side so it hangs very nicely. The next size is approx.75" long by.50" wide& smallest are approx.50" long by a little over.25" wide. The small smooth beads are approx same size as smallest carved bead. Just a bit more narrow. ... moreThis has very old darkened string. Some people like original or very old string for dating a piece. However I this should probably be restrung. Considering the age I think it natural to have some minor flaws. 1. pic 3 shows 3rd bead up from center has a small crack hangs off center sometimes. A bit of epoxy would hold that straight against string. 2. pics 4& 5 show 2 different beads that either weren't carved well or chipped. You have to really look for this, otherwise you don't notice. 3. the bead clasp does work, but it is difficult to close, I think too large of string was used for small barrel clasp. Central motif consists of brightly hand enameled yellow and pink roses. Overall condition is great with no chips or cracks to make note of and only a bit of wear to the gold edge decoration. The plate measures 10 1/2" across from outer handle to outer handle. Actually probably more of a serving plate than cake plate considering that the center sets deeper. The frame measures 9x6.25 on the outside and will fit a photo 6.25x4.25. It is marked KPM and is in very nice condition, there is one small nic on the backside top of the frame, I have included a photo. There are no cracks little to no paint loss. Very vintage looking and in great condition, apart from a small crack in the plastic rim around the tray near one of the handles. Handmade Hand Hooked Wool Rug 1970's Vintage Victorian Roses Floral 27 x 52
My grandmother hooked this gorgeous rug in the 1970's. Or possibly before. I can remember sitting, watching her work on these rugs when I was about 6 years old. This would have been in the early 1960's. It measures 27" x 52" and has lovely colors of peach. Shades of orange, shades of gold, black, purple, and shades of green. The medallion background is off white, the outer background is green. Very victorian in style with roses, floral, medallion, scallops and scroll designs. Wool. It has been stored in my parent's attic since the mid 1980's. We don't believe. By looking at the back, that is was ever used. I have also listed another of my grandmother's latch hook rugs, and will be adding more as I bring them out of my parent's attic. Reminiscent of the early RS Prussia china berry bowls sets. This set consists of a large 9-1/2" serving bowl and 4 individual 5-1/4" bowls. None of the pieces are marked with a manufacturer or artist signature.so I cannot say that it is RS Prussia. The bowls all carry the same pattern.a beautiful transfer pattern of roses and leave with touches of hand-painting along the edges of the roses. This same"touches of hand painting" are on the smaller bowls. As well as, the large bowl. ... moreThe roses are on a background of light-green and light brown. The interior edge work is also a transfer pattern of rich gold gilt Victorian-style flourishes. The largest bowl is in very nice condition with one small nick in the foot. But no other chips or cracks.and very few signs of wear. The gold gilt is all in great condition. Two of the smaller bowls have a nick(small chip) on the inside of their rim-foot. Two of the bowls also have spider cracks in the interior of their bases(as seen in the next to the final photo) There are also some white areas in the bottoms of the smaller bowls that may be from wear to the transfer patterns(see photos#4& 5) Be sure to enlarge these photos to see these small details. The book American Silver Plate by Dorothy and Ivan Rainwater picture the pattern on page 116 and give credit for the pattern and first production to Pairpoint Silver Plate Company in 1885 with there creation of an after dinner set. There are no monograms. Dents or repairs and the silver plate is shiny with slight fading around the etched areas. The tea pot stands 6.5 inches tall and 9 inches wide from handle to spout. The Has a couple scratchs on a couple places. The spoon holder is in fair condition with some scratchs and one small dent. Spoon holder is 4 inches high.

Lovely Antique Victorian Celluloid Portrait Dresser Glove Box w/ clasp. This box has a portait of a very pretty lady surrounded by roses. The box is 13-3/4" long by 3" tall by 4-1/2" wide with crisp colorful grahics and an ornate black celluloid scroll w/ a lady's head in the center decoration applied around the box. The box is in overall very good condition. There is a tiny spot or two of budlging in the paper starting. And a few spects of paint missing. The linen lining is in good condition but is dirty around the edges. The clasp properly closes and the hinges are in good shape. Please pardon light reflection/glare lines- these are not flaws.

This auction is for an antique hand-painted silk velvet textile fragments featuring roses. This was salvaged from a Victorian era runner. It is in a rich shade of copper rust. In my opinion. Its fiber content consists of a silk/cotton blend with a cotton base. This is lightweight, but not flimsy thin. The velvet is in good condition, however, there are slits in the middle portion of the roses motif due to the paint cracking. If one places this onto another textile, it will keep it intact. This is being sold"As Is" If one wishes for absolute perfection or a specific shade, please think carefully before, placing a bid, since all monitors are set differently. The velvet is very soft and although there are slits.
