This old switch says 9602B on the back. The base is porcelain and the top and switch appear to be bakelite. It is 1 15/16" across and 1 1/2" deep counting the toggle. Early porcelain / ceramic and brass Hubbell toggle switch
Vintage Hubbell toggle switch. Side of brass is marked: 8A 250V 5A 125V Hubbell" also on the other side" und. lab. insp. Underside is marked"Made in U.S.A. but I can't make out the rest. I have 2 in the same very good condition but listing and price is for one. I don't really know how these old switches work but it appears to all be there. Interior has a discolored sort of rust spot where the wires come in. But it's on both so I think it was made that way. The little cutouts where the wires come through the porcelain sides have some small chips in them, not awful just not perfect. If you've got a minute and you know how old this is I'd love to know. Overall piece is in very good condition. But take a good look at the photos as piece is being sold as-is.

The cap and switch button are solid bakelite that has aged well with a crack. THE SCREWDRIVER BLADE IS POINTING AT THE CRACK. The switch is new and unused. The inside is perfect and the screws appear unused. It was made in the USA by" BRYANT" The switch looks perfect and unused inside and tests OK with a voltmeter. It is 2" in diameter and 1 7/8" tall. BRASS ORNATE FILIGREE DOUBLE TOGGLE LIGHT SWITCH COVER
We just redid our entire home and made all the plates and covers match. These were the original plates and are quite pretty but some of the rooms did not match and I am kind of weird about that lol. TheY are used but in excellent condition- a couple might have a tiny bit of paint on the backside where they were put on the wall when the paint was still a bit wet but it doesnt show and could easily be scrapped off with a blade. These decorative covers are really expensive to buy new so this is a great opportunity to get some at a cheaper price. if you have any questions please ask. It is made of brass plated steel and measures 2" x 1.75" x.75" The ball has decorative rings around the diameter that appear chrome and in the stylef Art Deco.It is in good shape for it's age. This is a porcelain cover with the toggle on/off switch and the unglazed box. No chips or cracks. The porcelain cover is marked P.P. ing. Number 8378. The box is not marked. The cover is about 2 1/2 x 4 1/2 inches. about 3/8 inch thick. Nice vintage switch and cover. This is a vintage item and may not be perfect. Probably dates to the 1920's period. This is a new old stock thick. Heavy porcelain switch plate, made in the early 90's by New Jersey Porcelain Company-Lenape's parent company-for one of their customers, who sold them as part of their"Endura" line. The pic of the white one is just to show the package, this offer is for ONE triple toggle black switch plate. I will include black screws. If you get the plate in bright light and move it within a few inches of your eyes, you can see very very faint areas along the"ridge" where I guess the glaze was not quite as thick-where the black is not quite 100% solid, but on the wall it is totally not visible(there were dividers in the box so I don't think these are wear marks) These"marks" are so faint I cannot capture them with the camera and I don't think they would be an issue but I wanted ... moreto mention them. Two have nice click when flipped, one has double click on one side one has chip in porcelain and crack in bakelite.
