It was dirty and we cleaned it up some. I think it makes a nice vintage light switch set and has many uses. I hope someone can use these cool antique push button light switches. The switches are in excellent condition and look un-used. This might be nice for the reconstruction of an old victory and home. rare and hard to find spare parts for electricians. The back of the switch reads"A.E.C. 981-1" and I believe it reads Made in Canada below this. The lettering is difficult to read. There looks to be some red coloured paint along the side of the switch box itself. I did not take it apart and inspect the innards, I did not test the switch- the item is in as-found condition. Perkins Vintage 1910 Brass Electrical Ceiling Light Switch Push Button Lamp Part
This is very old Perkins light switch. It is stamped"PAT'D MAY 17. 1910" It was stored in a dirty electrical parts junk box at an electricians estate sale and has scuffs from contact with other items in the box. The switch snaps into place exactly as expected when the button is pressed. I think it may have never been used because there are no wire coming out of it and it is not tarnished around the push buttons from sweaty fingers.
