Description This switch is in good condition and about 2" in diameter. The porcelain is all intact and has not cracks. It is marked Weber on the bottom and is a dark brown color. Welcome to my listing. You are buying a Turn Switch bakelite twist knob nickel porcelain old antique light single pole Great old single pole 2-wire twist switch with a bakelite"ON/OFF" turn button. It was made in the USA by Perkins. It is patent dated on the bottom SEPT 17 1912. The black turn button has PERKINS name cast into it. I tested the switch with a continuity tester and it tests ok. It works by twisting. You stop when the contacts make contact to keep the circuit complete and twist again to turn it off. It is 2 1/2" in diameter and 2 1/8" deep. My Mom passed away suddenly on October 19th of 2011 and. After a year of selling, this is the last of what was her estate. They probably date from the early 1950's and are wonderfully hallmarked. They even have the original stickers. My Mom took care of her things. They measure approx. 5 1/9" x 3 1/2" These would be perfect for a young boy and girl or new fraternal twins. There is a slight imperfection on the back of one piece, but examining the glazing, it is original to the piece.

Up for auction is a beautiful vintage porcelain/ceramic light switch cover plate signed by manufacturer AJ Wilkinson LTD England. It is made for a single standard light switch. Base color is white with a blue floral design. Measures about 2 3/4 inches wide and 4 7/8 inches high. Condition is very good. There is light crazing around the lower fastener hole as shown in the third photo. This doesn't go deep into the ceramic. Also a very small chip on a back edge. As shown in the last photo.
