Vintage Perkins Push Button Light Switch Pair Mother of Pearl Functional Pat '03
Here is pair of vintage Perkins push button light switches with mother of pearl. Both of these switches operate with a solid and loud click when pushed in either direction. The Perkins name is cast into the solid black switch and the other is beautiful mother of pearl. All of the buttons are in great shape and appear to function as designed with no damage or repairs. The switch boxes are made of ceramic and have a November 3 03 patent date cast into the bottom. There is one small broken corner on one of the ceramic boxes. Nothing to interfere with use however. The single plates are unpainted and all the rest have a coat or two of paint on them. The switches are in pretty good condition, I see one with a piece broken out, see pic. Antique Perkins Brass Covers and 2 Push Button Switches - 4-Way (?) Vintage
Three brass Perkins Electric switch covers in good antique condition and two antique push-button light switches. Please look carefully at the photos for the best description of these items. They plates have no dents. But they do have scratches. The two single plates do not rock when placed on a flat surface. The double will wobble just a little when pressed on one corner(less than 1/16" of twist) The large plate has a great patina. But does have some thin deposits in a few places, mainly where the verdigris shows in the pictures. The switches have not been tested with power. One has an"E" on the back and"4w" I don't know if it's a 4-way switch. Both operate fine as far as switching goes. But as I said I've not tested them with electricity. Three Antique Vintage Bakelite & Ceramic Perkins Snap Push Button Light Switches
This auction is for three antique vintage Perkins Snap push button light switches in working condition offered with no reserve. These three antique push-button switches have black bakelite buttons and ceramic housings. Each has a solid brass cover plate. These switches worked well when removed and are ready for wiring. Two have three posts for wiring and one has two posts. The antique switch bases measure 1 3/4" wide. 2 1/2" tall and 1 5/8" deep. Each switch is marked patented Nov 3 08.
