Primitive Vintage Wall Mount Switch Plate Eagle on Federal Style Convex Mirror WOW- went to my favorite flea market this weekend and found some awesome treasures for you- I’ll be listing all week. So keep checking! Now here's a unique wall mount switch plate for you! It is made of steel. And it appears to have a silver plated finish- just by the patina and the tarnish, with dark spots and light spots- although it is not marked. It's a single switch switch plate- in the design of a convex federal style mirror(just the design, it's not really a mirror) that has an American Bald Eagle standing on the top- wings spread wide. The plate measures 4 3/4" tall by 3 1/8" wide and the on/off switch opening is 1 1/16" by 7/16" It weighs only a couple of ounces. It is in excellent solid and sturdy structural condition, ... morewith an age darkened patina- like I said, it's like old silverplate- with dark spots and light spots. I have not tried to clean or polish or mess with the as found patina in any way, so I do not know how well it would polish up- if you want it shiny, that is- I like it just as it is! There's minor scratching to the metal. There's two screw mount holes for mounting on the wall. I've never seen another like it, so I had to get it for you! Perkasie, Pennsylvania ~ MIRROR GLASS SWITCH PLATE ~ with the original box. The antiquarian switch plate(6 3/8" x 4 3/8" is a triple switcher with beveled edges. The early American architectural accent is an old stock piece, maintaining the original packaging; while showing obvious age indications from generations in storage.
