7 Vintage Leviton "Snapit" wall plates, for switches, ivory
A lot of seven vintage Leviton"Snapit" wall plates. For standard toggle switches. Snapit plates were Leviton's own style of wall plate, and feature wide ridges running vertically on the plate face, similar to the classic Uniline style. They're kind of hard to come by, I haven't seen any in years. These Bakelite plates are unused, and three of them are still in the plastic wrapper, but all of them are in pretty rough shape from being stored poorly. I've cleaned them as best as I can, but you can see some staining on the bottom edge of the one in the photo, several of them have similar marks and a couple of them have some marks on the faces. However, there are no scratches, cracks, or chips in these plates. I think they'd take a coat of paint really well and would add a funky, retro touch to a house or a retro-themed ... moreoffice. After all, it's the little details that make a room!

Vintage Uniline 4-gang wall plate, ivory, for light switches, NOS
One vintage. New old stock, Uniline four gang wall plate, for standard toggle switches. This plate was made by Bryant, probably sometime in the fifties, and is in the classic Uniline ribbed style. It's still in the original paper wrapper, and has the original screws to go with it. Larger wall plates in this style are quite hard to find, as it was uncommon for there to be more than two devices at any location, particularly in houses but also in commercial buildings. Four gang plates are even harder to come by, unused ones rarer still! This plate is in perfect condition, with no chips, cracks, or scratches, and is a lovely creamy ivory color. This would be a great finishing touch to a mid century home restoration, or a retro-styled office or store(although I think Uniline plates just look neat anywhere!

Vintage NOS Uniline wall plates, ivory, 2-gang, for duplex receptacles
Vintage new old stock Uniline 2-gang wall plates. For standard duplex receptacles. These plates were made by Pass& Seymour, probably in the sixties, and are unused in the original packaging. The classic ribbed Uniline style was current from the early fifties up through the sixties, and remains a popular piece for mid-century home restorations. Although a popular piece at the time, larger plates are rarer because it was less common for there to be more than one device at a given location, particularly in residential buildings. These would make a great finishing touch to a mid-century home restoration, or a cool detail for a retro-themed office or store. Heck, I think they look neat anywhere! 4 Vintage Sierra Electric Biplex 15a receptacles, w/matching wall plates, ivory
Four vintage Sierra"Biplex" duplex receptacles. Complete with their matching wall plates. These are 15 amp/125 volt grounded duplex receptacles, which Sierra called"Biplex" because of the rectangular pattern they used, instead of the more usual duplex receptacle. These are similar in look to a modern GFI receptacle, but are narrower and taller, necessitating their own wall plates(they do fit in a standard electrical box, however) All components are new old stock, having never been installed. The receptacles are still in their original cardboard boxes, which are also in nice shape and display well if that's important to you. The wall plates are also unused, but two of them no longer have the plastic wrappers, and the other two wrappers aren't in very good shape either. Five vintage Uniline 3-gang wall plates. For standard light switches. These plates are new old stock, still in the original box and wrappers, and come with screws too. Made by H&H to the classic Uniline pattern, these plates are in perfect shape, with no chips, cracks, scratches, or discoloration, and would make a great finishing touch to a mid century home restoration, or a cool touch for a retro themed office or store. Vintage. Uniline single gang wall plates, for standard toggle switches. They have never been used and are in fine shape, with a beautiful creamy ivory color. They're pretty neat, and would make a great finishing touch to your mid-century home restoration, or just a cool detail anywhere! These wall plates are new old stock. And probably date from the later 50's or early 60's. They're made by several different manufacturers-the photo shows one by Hubbell, but I have some by H&H, Arrow-Hart, and Pass& Seymour as well. Vintage Arrow-Hart 4 gang wall plate, 3x switches 1x receptacle, ivory
A vintage. Arrow-Hart wall plate to the earlier Art-Deco inspired Uniline pattern. This has narrow vertical ribs with a border running around the outer edges of the plate-it's very subtle and classy. The color is a creamy ivory, and there are no scratches or cracks. This is a four gang plate, with spaces for three standard light switches and one standard duplex receptacle. Larger plates in this style are quite rare, as it was unusual for there to be more than one or two devices at any location in most residences, and even in stores or offices. This would probably have been in an office or other business, where there would be multiple lights and the need for an outlet. And, how handy is that-an outlet up high, right by the switches? No more rooting around down around the baseboards! This is a new old stock plate. Still in the original ... morecardboard sleeve. The Biplex was Sierra's modern style receptacle, with a rectangular shape similar to Leviton's"Decora" style, but these are taller and narrower than standard, requiring special wall plates to fit. Vintage NOS Sierra Electric Biplex wall plates, ivory
Vintage wall plates by Sierra Electric. Specific to their Biplex range of rectangular receptacles. These are similar in shape to Decora style devices, but are taller and narrower. Sierra Electric made their own style of wall plate with vertical grooves similar to a Uniline plate, but these tend to be hard to find even for common devices like toggle switches- they're really rare for Biplex receptacles! These are all new old stock plates, but the plastic wrappers have long since disappeared, so there are a few dirt marks on them but there are no cracks or scratches. The color is still nice and even, with no yellowing. If you need some Biplex receptacles.
