The cap is solid brass that has aged to a nice warm bronze color. It could be polished to a high shine or left in the condition it is. The switch has small scratches and great tarnish. It was made in the USA by HUBBELL. The switch looks good inside. The switch tests ok with a voltmeter. It is 2 1/4" in diameter and 2 1/8" tall. For your consideration is a pair of early Hubbell on-off switches. They are brass with toggle snaps on black porcelain bases secured to original mounting plate. In rustic condition with surface rust and wear consistent with age. Marked Hubbell 250 v/125 v 3A 5A Und Lab Insp. Measures approximately 5" long by 2.75" wide by 2.5" tall.
