Nice vintage lot of old porcelain electrical supplies. First there are 2 bulb sockets. The larger one has a screw out porcelain adapter and a side chain pull mechanism. It was made by Levititon and is 250w/v. The other says made in USA 250v. There are also 2 bulb sockets made by Bryant. USA. Finally there is a switch with no makers name. The metal part has rusting. The switch looks like bakelite but Im not sure. I am also unsure if the bulbs or any of this works so I am selling as is. However, I will answer any questions you may have at any time. 10 Vintage Bakelite Electrical Outlet Covers • Hubbell • Uniline • Bryant
This is a great auction for a lot of ten(10) assorted vintage Bakelite electrical outlet cover plates. All of these plates are in good condition.they just need to be cleaned up. I cleaned one of them and the majority of the dirt(and what I'm assuming is tobacco staining) came off with a wet cloth. I'm sure a good cleaner will get them nice and shiny again. There are two with cracks and I took photos of each of these. The first is a hairline crack in the body of one with the decontrol. It's not too noticeable and should still work for its purpose. The other is a very small crack/chip at the screw hole of one of the smooth edged plates. Five of these covers have the deco design pattern along the perimeter of the plate and the other five have a smooth finish. I took separate photos of each group so you can see the difference. This listing is for the lot of 14 OLD brass electric outlet plates by Bryant. Model numbers 060 are visible on the backs of some of them. Each one measures 2 3/4 by 4 1/2 inches. All are in good used shape and ready to install after a good cleaning. These are all offered as found and I'm not a pro so I leave the cleaning to those who are. Original patina. Some have paint residue too. They all have one screw hole in the middle. Total scrap weight is 2 pounds 7 regular ounces. Any questions please ask me.
