Vintage Arrow-Hart 4 gang wall plate, 3x switches 1x receptacle, ivory
A vintage. Arrow-Hart wall plate to the earlier Art-Deco inspired Uniline pattern. This has narrow vertical ribs with a border running around the outer edges of the plate-it's very subtle and classy. The color is a creamy ivory, and there are no scratches or cracks. This is a four gang plate, with spaces for three standard light switches and one standard duplex receptacle. Larger plates in this style are quite rare, as it was unusual for there to be more than one or two devices at any location in most residences, and even in stores or offices. This would probably have been in an office or other business, where there would be multiple lights and the need for an outlet. And, how handy is that-an outlet up high, right by the switches? No more rooting around down around the baseboards! This is a new old stock plate. Still in the original ... morecardboard sleeve. The sleeve is in okay condition, yellowed and someone in the past has drawn a picture of a wall plate on it(in pencil, it might erase all right) but even then I think it would display well.
