This is for an unusual round electrical outlet with a built in cover. It is made of brown bakelite. It does not have any cracks or breaks just a few surface scratches as shown in the photos. It was made in the USA and is rated at 125V. All four original screws are still attached. They all four turn easily.

Unique"State? Art Co"name is there but hard to make out) Chicago Illinois, Universal Switch cover. I believe the date 1931 or 1881 is visible in picture#4 and 5, hard to make it out. The Art Company is vague with only a few letters that I can make out even though they are all there. Made of a white pliable rubber material. Comes from an estate sale at a house built in 1855. The cover plate measures about 6-1/2 inches tall, and 4-3/4 inches wide, and 1/4 inch thick for the flat base. Weight is 4.6 ounces. Feel free to ask any questions before bidding.

These beautiful plates were made by Slater Inc; Glen Cove. NY(now P& S) were more commonly made by Circle F. The Receptacle plate has common stress crack from overtightening screw. Surface of all 3 plates is in Very Good condition. Great to match up an existing motif, or to create a new one!

GE Rare Antique Vintage Bakelite Brown Two Hole Push Button Switch Cover Plate
This unique design plate was made by Monowatt before they were taken over by General Electric. These plates came with Brown Pan head screws. But they will also accept(recessed) flat head screws. The side pieces of these plates can be broken off at arrows to create your own Double& Triple gang combinations(hence the first"sectional" plates1) The Monowatt cardboard display package& 1 of 2 screws have been lost.
