This old switch says 9602B on the back. The base is porcelain and the top and switch appear to be bakelite. It is 1 15/16" across and 1 1/2" deep counting the toggle. Welcome to my listing. You are buying a Turn Switch bakelite twist knob nickel porcelain old antique light single pole Great old single pole 2-wire twist switch with a bakelite"ON/OFF" turn button. It was made in the USA by Perkins. It is patent dated on the bottom SEPT 17 1912. The black turn button has PERKINS name cast into it. I tested the switch with a continuity tester and it tests ok. It works by twisting. You stop when the contacts make contact to keep the circuit complete and twist again to turn it off. It is 2 1/2" in diameter and 2 1/8" deep. Here is a real treat for the Collector of Fine Antique Hardware White Porcelain Push Button Double Switch Cover This little treasure in in great condition for its age. Check out the pictures. No chips. Cracks or hazing on the surface. Only shows a little wear(very minor at that) in the deep part of the screw holes and around the bottom edge where the original button switch might have rubbed against the switch cover. I have searched all over the web trying to find information about the age of an item of this nature and I couldn't find anything to help identify this specifically. Very nice estate Perkins 4 wire light switch. It's a spring loaded switch that snaps into the settings of OFF LOW MEDIUM or HIGH. And is a larger switch measuring about 3 1/2" across and 3" out from the wall. This switch is in great condition for the age, with a little bit of wall paint and a few tiny chips to the porcelain. This set includes two(2) white porcelain single toggle light switch plates and one(1) matching outlet from the 1930s or 40s Made by Porcelain Products Inc. P.P. Inc. They features a 3 tier stepped design with a beveled center for easy light switch access. One of the switch plates includes the switch mechanism. But it can be removed if desired. Up for your consideration we have an antique box lot of assorted electrical parts. Most of these came out of our 1919 home and were in working order at the time. But are being sold as is just in case. Everything needs to be cleaned. Please see pictures for condition. There is 1 double switch plate(oxidation on front) and 2 single brass switch plates. 1 of the single plates has some damage as seen in picture 8. Antique vinage porcelain light switch For your consideration is this old white porcelain on and off switch. This came off of an antique french door set. I don't know if it would still work or not but my guess is that with new wire it would. It measures 2 inches across. It does have a couple of chips at the base. I have included a picture of them.
